that's what I thought but...500 years in the lifespan of a dragon is not that much, it's doubtful he'd die simply of old age (especially since nagafen is still alive and by all measure was considerably old when Kerafym was even born).

So if he didn't die of old age, and I can not think of any historical record that would indicate he was killed...I still can't think that he's dead.

He died saving Norrath when Luclin exploded, it's in the prismatic quest lore, just have to listen to Naggy.

Trewnish wrote:He died saving Norrath when Luclin exploded, it's in the prismatic quest lore, just have to listen to Naggy.

Dragons are known liars. They will say anything to manipulate mortals to carry out thier will. Even if you would think they have no reason what-so-ever to lie to you, it's really the exact opposite. A Dragon really has no reason to even speak with a mortal unless they want something from you. Really think about it, to most if not all, Dragons see the mortals as either slaves, food or sport.

Liars yes, but the evidence just continues to mount.

Nagafen says he died, Darathar says he died, crazy men in Ro say they saw "a" dragon die when luclin blew up.

Now we have an ENTIRE RELIGIOUS FACTION actively awaiting a return of their leader, who is clearly Kerafyrm. So he definitely went "somewhere".

Add to the fact that Lord Vyemm is running experientments involving dead dragons and a herald talks about how there's stuff going on about restoring the dead (and we have the precedent of rezzing Vox) it seems extremely likely that he is both dead and may (possibly) make an appearance regardless of that fact.

HE SHALL RETURN AS ROBO SLEEPER!!! lol

Meh. Only time will tell once the raid guild finally hit 70 and start killing the dragons. Maybe the soldiers say he died, but only the actual other dragons themselves who worship him will know for sure.

Or is he? Quite a few possible spoilers in the screenshot of a dialogue below, however if you don't want to see the screenie and find it out yourself... Arbiter Selek at bonemire is a good person to seek out. But, as Cusa said more of the story no doubt will open up when raids guilds hit 70 and start killing the dragons but in the meanwhile we can ponder this. :smileytongue:

Nice. My guildie was saying yesterday that Nagafen always tells him something new anytime he goes to visit him. Looks like we'll have to go back to him for a deeper part of the story.

What I find odd is that Nagafen now claims K is not dead, while even the Droag reference his death.

Duhulk wrote:What I find odd is that Nagafen now claims K is not dead, while even the Droag reference his death.

According to the book "The Awakened", there's a split in the faction. Some droags remain loyal to Veeshan, but most of them follow lore Veymm and the other dragons, who now worship Kerafyrm.

according to EQ1 kerafyrn is the most powerfull dragon that ever lived, even veeshan is suposed to be quite disturbed by his power, i doubt anything could have killed him :p

That's really not part of lore. It's just a combination of people being so far ahead of the Velious expansion and being able to zerg, die, and rez for hours upon hours.

All the droag, even Vyemm's, say the died lines =p.

Finally got far enough to talk to Naggy concering a KoS quest.

What I find odd is that he now refers to Kerafrym as a made leader, where before he seemed to think highly of him.

Also, I see no reason for the dialogue where he says his info on him being dead is wrong. We do not know how long he has been gone from the Awakened. It would only contradict the Luclin death if he had been with them less than 15 years ago. He's lying one way or the other
