<div>Which inn in Freeport proper (not the racial districts) would have the best view? Probably not the one in NFP, being at the bottom of a hill as it is. . .</div><div> </div><div>Barring that, what is the name of the inn in WFP? The one that overlooks the arena, I think.</div>

<div>What do you mean the best view? It's not like you can see outside the windows or anything.</div>

<div></div>I'm writing a story based off of some of my characters from the game, and the next part takes place at an inn in Freeport. All I meant was which inn <em>would</em> have the best view if one existed. Like the Seafarer's Roost, looking out over the harbor. I think the one in NFP has a rooftop patio with a (theoretical) nice view. Just somewhere I could put the characters so they can admire their surroundings, such as they are in Freeport.

<div></div>The top of Blood Haze Inn in West Freeport would give you a pretty good view of that part of the city. You could see the militia house from there too, I believe.

<div></div>From the Blood Haze, would you be more likely to see the Commonlands or the ocean? Or just the city?

<div>I don't mean to buzz, but wouldn't it just be easier if you made a freeport character and looked around?</div>

<div></div><p>I no longer have an EQ2 account with which to do so. That would require giving up my City of Villains accounts that I share with my wife, and my World of Warcraft account to make space for EQ2. I gave it up a while back, but have continued to write my story, which is why I remember certain things about the city, but not exact placements and such.</p><p>I do appreciate the help.</p>

<font color="#339900">I vote for Blood Haze Inn in WFP FTW !! That's where I live and the view is very cool - plus there's a quick access to broker and lotto without even stepping out of the Inn !! <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></font><div></div>

<div></div>The Blood Haze Inn has secrets within. Not even the owner of this upscale inn knows that these secrets exist. It all goes back to the origin of this building, a building bought and renovated by the current owner. Who were the former inhabitants of this building before it was an inn?

<div></div>EFP would have the most beautiful view from the Inn at the docks. It would also be the major travel hub and probably the most interesting part of the city to live in.

<div></div><div></div>Its a shame they put a big guard in front of the entrance - now no Qeynos people can comethere to roleplay anymore. (On Antonia Bayle, the Bloodhaze had become a hub for roleplay, including Qeynosians, because they could get to it quickly (and with no guard) from the sewer exit - one of the most accessable laces. Plus the "dining room" and fireplacee in the next room, and people's 2-room apartments there. It was an ideal place to RP, and having good and evil mixed there was quite fun. Now Qeynosians will have to fight a 65^^^ guard to just get in the door.Your design folks may not have been aware of it, but you've killed a major roleplaying place. Its hard enough to get a good place to RP - now you've gone and demolished it.Please move (or remove) the guard at the front door of the Bloodhaze!<div></div><p>Message Edited by Dr_Cyrus on <span class="date_text">02-22-2006</span><span class="time_text">04:38 AM</span></p>

Bah. In fact, you probably have no one else to blame but yourselves for the change in the rules and the posting of the guards. Lucan must've found out that some wussy do-gooders and Moral Orels were sneaking in and he put a stop to it like he should've.If you ask me, this is how it always should have been. It gives choosing a city some actual meaning now that you can't just waltz into the other city with no reprocutions except being thrown out on your tush.</span><div></div><p>Message Edited by teddyboy420 on <span class="date_text">02-22-2006</span><span class="time_text">01:43 PM</span></p>

I'm in the Blood Haze Inn now. I <i>think</i> there is a bell next to a door on the ground floor that wasn't there before (bell is there, not sure if it was before). Doesn't do anything but why is it there? Also discovered that I haven't moved the froglok q along much as a silly man tried to fire arrows at me...No one in the inn seems to be saying anything different...<div></div>
