<div>There is a very distinct possiblity that D'vinn is still alive, seeing as how Dorn B'Dynn, Noxhil V'Sek, and a few other Dark Elves are still around.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Emperor Crush on the other hand.... Is still around.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>If Emperor Fyst is any indication, all the rulers of an orc tribe takes on the name as a title.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Meaning that Emperor Crush is still around (assuming that the Crushbone Orcs are too), but it's not the same Emp as 500 years ago.</div><div> </div><div>I'd say he probably died off 7 or 8 Emperor Crushbone's ago.</div>

And they apparantly have figured out how to cross the seas between Ro and Faydark before we did.I suppose it is possible that that Ambassador was visiting the Deathfist Orcs before the Cataclysm, but after this time, I doubt he would have kept the title. It seems more likely that if there is a Crushbone Ambassador there, then there is active dialogue going on between those tribes of orcs at the moment.<div></div>

Well they certainly have a strong pressence in the world. They pretty much have the isle of Zek locked down as a strong hold. They have a VERY strong pressence in the Commonlands, especially the valleys and caves around the edge. They have a strong(?) presence in the Desert of Ro as well. Are there any left in Everfrost? In any case that is 3 out of 10 regions that they have significant presence in, which is more than any other enemy I think. And that ignores the fact that the Ry'gor orcs and the Crushbone orcs home lands are still unaccounted for.<div></div>

Guess they all ran off to Runnyeye and Zek when the Cataclysm occured. (IIRC the Zek orcs were the refugees from the forces invading Qeynos and destroying Halas, were they not?) <div></div>

<div>The Rallosian War during the Age of War saw the greatest spread of orc clans upon Antonica/ The Shattered Lands. The orc forces played an integral part of the march to claim the entire continent for the second rise of the Rallosian Empire. The orcs clans were the predominant forces found in each division of this massive onslaught against the empires of Antonica. During this long war the orcs crossed through a great many regions and found numerous undiscovered areas of Antonica. Their battle maps became the most complete maps recorded at that time. Along this journey to the Battle of Defiance the orcs may have also discovered secrets that would eventually gain them the ability to navigate more efficiently overland and on the sea. After the war, many of the clans retreated to their homelands, but kept close ties to each other, something that would eventually lead to the organization of the entire orc nation during the Age of Cataclysms and on into the Age of Destiny. They have secrets that we have not seen. As for those orc clans not from Old Antonica... we'll have to wait and see. </div>

While not as powerful as the orcs, one could make an arguement that the gnolls are pushing their influence on Norrath as well.<div></div>

<div>Nah the gnolls have never really been a huge threat to Norrath. an aknowledged threat, but not a growing threat to the world in general. </div>

<div>If you haven't, there's a quest to collect relics in DFC for Tusk (who is a CB orc, by the way). I can't remember what all you collect, but they're bones, ashes, and other stuff of from crushbone types such as the orc runner, D'Vinn, Crush, and either Darish or the prophet...it's been a while since I did it.</div>
