How do you all know so much about EQ lore?It really is quite fascinating, my favorite part of the game. Do you read websites, or do you get your knowledge from in-game books? It's incredible how much little info is out there that I just have no clue how to attain.<div></div>

<div>You can find most of the informations on the internet. I also remember a lot from the Quests and Ingame Lore from EQLive.</div><div>But everyone should keep in mind, that EQLive is not the same timeline as EQ2.</div>

Most of my lore knowledge comes from other people. I read this lore board and the EQLive lore board, and listen to others talk about the stories behind various events, and they stick with me (often times they stick better than RL history does for me. <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> ). SO when I see questions about certain events, or just curiousities, I dredge up answers/situations from the back of my mind and try and answer as best I can. <div></div>

<div>For me, most of the lore comes from first-hand experience in searching it out.</div>

<div></div>I've been playing EQL and EQ2 both since launch, and I've always had an obsession with the lore.. :smileywink: The official site, boards, quests in game, NPCs in game, GM events, books in game, etc. I've learned lore from all of those, and still am.

<div>LOTS of the lore is told to you by NPCs ...either just chatting with you or as information with quests. This is why it's often fun to do a quest several times on different alts. Some quests have to be speed-read through in order to get to the update ...thinking Stein of Moggok here, if you are Qeynosian...others, you don't know are there till you have a different exploration path because of your adventure class or even crafting.</div><div> </div><div>You could fill in holes in your history with discussion on boards such as these, and searching for lost bits, but most of it is right there in front of you.</div>

Every quest I've gotten, I just mashed through the dialogue....makes me want to start over and do it right...<div></div>

I played EQL for five years, so that's where my EQL lore knowledge comes from.I'm a questaholic, so I do quests at every chance in EQ2, especially the book quests, reading all the text involved and digesting it. There is a ton of lore to be gained from quests <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>
