View Full Version : How were the courts of Maj'Dul first formed?

<div>I'm currently working on the next chapter of my fanfic, <a target="_blank" href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=tales_lore&message.id=2667">Town on the Edge of Time</a>, and in order to finish it, I need to know how it was that Maj'Dul came under the rule of three different factions. Could anyone tell me a little about how the three courts came about?</div>

<div></div><div>(Warning: Spoilers)</div><div> </div><div>Ahkari ruled Maj'Dul.</div><div> </div><div>Dorn B'Dynn, leader of the Court of Tears (and infamous killer of n00b Paladins :smileysad<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> assasinates Ahkari.</div><div> </div><div>Ahkarem, first born son of Ahkari and now rightful ruler of Maj'Dul flees Maj'Dul out of fear of Dorn.</div><div> </div><div>Ahkari's other three sons, Dukar, Omren, and Ishti fight over who shall rule.</div><div> </div><div>Mudeef, an erudite and "neutral third party" comes up with a plan. He will overseer the security of Maj'Dul while the three brothers form the courts. When one has won the hearts and minds of the people, Mudeef will present them with the rod that proves rightful claim to leadership of Maj'Dul. Using Djinn magic, he has the three pledge this bond in the form of a a wish. Mudeef will stay in this task forever (IE: Hi, I'm immortal now) until the rightful leader has his claim. Of course, Mudeef has no intention of letting any court ever "win", and Dorn is still around trying to take control of the city, now enlisting the aid of the Rujark Orcs.</div><div> </div><div>Now, a short succesion history.</div><div> </div><div>BladesDukar rules</div><div>His power hungry son Dukarem kills Dukar and takes control.</div><div> </div><div>Truth</div><div>Ishti rules</div><div>His power hungry son Ishara uses the law making power of the arena to make Ishti's very nature, character, and personality "illegal".
