<div>I've only had a chance to play through some of the new freeport quests (the sprawl , ruins, etc)  And some of it is pretty interesting.  I like the new talking statue of lucan, and the orcs seem to be trying to take over freeport.   I also noticed earlier in the forest ruins that a piece of luclin had crashed down there.  I don't recall that being there.  I was thinking that little pieces of luclin were crashing everywhere, but people say the strange comet/meteor things flying through the sky are fast clouds used in the new expansion. </div><div> </div><div>Anyone know why that piece of luclin  is there now or have anything else to share regarding the new events taking place?  Some very cool things are happening and it'll be fun to see how they all come together.</div>

If you kill them they have Faction with the Freeport mage guild.Likewise in Qeynos it is as if the Gnolls are planning an attack on the city, Would be interesting to see this turn into something more.I was thinking maybe the Sky gems we are picking up are those shooting stars from the sky. Was just a thought though.</span></div>

<div>The quests in the Forest Ruins don't explain why the goblins or elementals or undead students are suddenly gone, and why all these pirates showed up either.</div>

<div>Its for a quest called "Of Fate and Destiny". After you've worked all the quests for all three courts,  you're given a chance to fight the ruler of Maj'Dul himself, who I believe all three courts allude is quite evil and is trying to run the city into the ground or something like that.</div>

<div></div><div>Oh, Mudeef? I can tell you all about old Mudeef :smileyvery-happy:</div><div>He's a clever [Removed for Content] for sure.</div><div> </div><div>He's not strictly a ruler, persay. Officially he is a neutral third party holding order while the three courts determine the next ruler of Maj'Dul.</div><div>Unofficially he makes sure that decision never takes place.</div><p>Message Edited by Duhulk on <span class="date_text">02-07-2006</span><span class="time_text">02:10 PM</span></p>

<p>Been over a year since I saw the quest text relating to the forest ruins, but I think one of the newbie quests says the forest ruins are the ruins of the old mage tower.  I don't believe there is a direct area in eq1 that correlates (Qeynos in eq1 was sort of just a bunch of buildings.  There wasn't even really a castle.)</p><p>I would like to find out more about these pirates though and where the elementals have gone during the day.</p><p>Just finished the freeport series of quests in the ruins, and that series rocked. Not to mention great rewards, the lore was pretty cool.  The brokentusk and lonetusk orcs are recieving support from the rujarkian orcs of ro in an attempt to take over freeport.  At the end of the quest you find a note from the rujarkians in clefts explaining this.</p>

<div>The Forest Ruins are the remains of The Order of Three, the mage guild located north of the bank in North Qeynos in EQlive.</div>
