<div></div><div></div><div>This will be a short thread because there is none. The mobs in the last two zones die, and, well, and nothing. Nada, ziltch. You get a chest; that's it.</div><div>I suppose it's okay. They're fun and challenging encounters, but the lore bug in me weeps all the same. :smileysad:</div><p>Message Edited by Duhulk on <span class="date_text">02-05-2006</span><span class="time_text">08:54 PM</span></p>

You kill the Djinn Master, and you take control of the dragons.

Also I was curious on the Lore behind why you must kill him.</p><p> </p><p>*Edited for clarity*</p><p>Message Edited by DreamerCloud9 on <span class="date_text">02-05-2006</span><span class="time_text">11:26 PM</span></p>

It's all very non-specific, for good or ill.You don't have to kill the dragons to get to the master, but you can. There's no really good lore reason except (it should be me who does it)And there's really no specific reason you're killing the Djinn Master except "to do it" or maybe "to get even for a lie".But nothing on the scale of Darathar, T'Haen, Acts of War, or Godking Anuk.<div></div>

Yeah, the whole Shimmering Citadel, Poets Palace, Dragons and Djinn Master thing seems to have very little lore around it...I remember when Malice first beat Poets Palace: Return and their first thoughts where... "That's it?".From what I can remember you get sent out by the Djinn Master to capture the dragons by spawning them using a scale that drops from his palace. Then when you captured them he says something about you not being able to kill the dragons, and you respond that once you do you will be able to kill him too. No particular lore about PP:R, and now that you beat the Prism there doesn't seem to be anything from there either.I would guess SOE didn't intend for you to get the scale to enter the Prism by killing the heroic version of Pedestal of the Sky, but that you have to bring your raid through PoS to "flag" them kinda like you did back in Acts of War and Splitpaw. It's all very confusing, and it seems like they just ignored it all completely <span>:smileyindifferent:</span><div></div>

<div></div><p>PP:R I've viewed as being the bard's failed raiders, the bard from the Djinn Master's Prism. I've yet to come up with an idea of how PP:R ties into the story; however, it is less random than the Court and Gates instances.</p><p>It also makes me wonder why there are peacock feathers in the Prism. The zone is not even part of the Peacock series.</p>

Yeah, quite a few raid instances in this expansion make very little sense lol.I suppose Gates could have to do with a lizardman invasion of the city, but court...um...yeah, wow, that's just random lol, but fun.For PPR, all I could come up with is "we're looking for the Djinn Master here first, but he's not here just some other 'lieutenant' Djinn".<div></div>

<div>It seems as though capturing night and day should have progressed to a new quest.</div><div>SOE got lazy though and didnt finish.</div><div>After you finish night and day the quest says to go kill the dragons to give to the djin master.</div><div>Now this should give another quest in my opinion. Go kill dragons in PoS.(Which is where there spirits are trapped, after you captured them from Majdul or PoF). Kill those to get the Masters scale, which allows you to go to the prisim. Then you should get some other quest talking about lore, maybe how you discovered the the master is an [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]. So you need to kill him to finish the quest and get a big reward.</div>

<div>I woudln't call anyone involved lazy, PPR, PoS, and Prism are all excellent zones.</div><div> </div><div>I will however admit that it felt like there could/should have been ONE more quest.</div>
