The new Live Event...The Plague...perhaps...

<DIV>Well, I saw this event, don't know if test server people could answer this question or not. But perhaps this plague has something to do with Bertoxxlous the Plaguebringer returned. Maybe he decided to say to heck with the pact they made and return to Norrath. And in his return he brings a hugh plague. I mean that would be a pretty awesome way to reintroduce the gods. Don't know if this is what it is. But I think it would be interesting? What do you all think??!?!?!:womanmad: (that one stills confuses me...the emotion....woman mad....ehhh)</DIV>

I thought more of the "plauge" as vampire infestion, citizens falling ill due to having their blood tapped by vampires. Or even cursed by them. Or perhaps the Shadowedmen have come across to Norrath. <div></div>

I remember those plagues in 2001, green mist everywhere, giant beetles everwhere. And there was a GM Event in South Karana where the GM's turned into "Infected Treants" that were rogues and backstabbed everyone, I got the kill and loot from one of the three treants <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<P>One of the few events they did on EQOA was VERY similar.  Animals and monsters all over the land got this plague, and it would proc from them to you during combat.  Once you were infected you would proc it onto mobs you hit and players you traded with.</P> <P>About this same time new NPC's started appearing in the cities.  They were called the "Springview Healers" and said they were there to help investigate and cure the plague.  They would give you quests where you had to go out and kill 10 "plagued animal" and return with the pelts.  The reward was usually some food, and the result from killing these mobs was that you were now infected.  Later on, Necrologists showed up in some out of the way places and had some higher level quests.  These guys were investigating where the springview healers had come from, and how to get there.  </P> <P>At the end of it all, it turns out the Springview healers were an actual group of healing priests.  When a plague struck the land that even they could not cure, they made a deal with Bertoxxolous.  Bertoxxolous cured the plague, but transported the Springview healers and their sanitarium into his plane, and made the springview healers his servants.</P> <P> </P> <P>When I read that this plague will include new people that are wanting to help cure the plague at a prise, but adventurers should beware, I thought of this story line.</P>

<P>Well, I don't think Bert would have to fear the other gods. Heck Rallos and Solusek are both like DO IT DO IT DO IT!!! And Berts like ok i'll do it YEAH WOOT!!! And Innoruuk is all like I hate those guys....they just make fun of me. Meanwhile Tunare Quellios The Rathe and the Tribunial are having a party. But they don't invite the evil guys...except for Cazic Thule...I mean come on you can't play truth or dare without a little god of fear making you not do stuff.</P> <P> </P> <P>PS...I have no clue what I just typed....I mean sure I typed it, basically it was a lot of noncohereant crap.
