The family was well known for being the proprietors of a curio shop of rare and mysterious artifacts in the city. This all took place well before the rule of Lucan. The castle was built in a secluded area that befit the family's desire for privacy. As the years passed Nektropos has been rediscovered, though its current residents are not exactly known for their hospitality.</i> <div></div>

As the daughters grew, they became more independent and wanted to escape the ever watchful eyes of their guardians. Listening to his daughters' please for freedom, Lord Everling agreed and released the guardians from their duties and had them escorted out of Nektropos Castle. The guardians viewed this as a travesty.</EM></DIV> <DIV> <P><EM>The guardians eventually returned to the castle, and snuck inside and killed every last person save Lord Everling and his daughters. Then, as if in a ritual, the guardians killed off each of the daughters and then their father, Lord Everling.
