<DIV>Hi everyone</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You may think this is a daft question but what is LORE?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Is it EQ specific, or is it a fantasy thing?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Being new to EQ and not knowing much about fanatasy I am not sure what it is. Thinking about it, it seems like its the history of the game or something like that. I appreciate any enlightenment you can give me regarding this.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It would also help with knowing what the LORE items are for.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks</DIV>

Lore items are those which you can only have ONE of in your possession at any time. That includes on your person or in your bank. You can have multiple of the same lore item in your house though. But yes in EQ and in fact most of fantasy games/books etc, LORE refers to knowledge, beliefs etc about a certain thing. For instance, dragonlore is lore (knowledge) about dragons. Also used to refer to history, now and again, but in a loose, sort of amorphous way (Like "Lore of the Elves" might refer to their written history).
