<DIV>There are some encounters that the raid leader calls for no dumbfire pets.  Until last night it never occured to me....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If you cast Spirit Avenger on the group member and it works, there is an actual spirit pet that is summoned to fight on the behalf of the defiler?  If so, is this pet a dumbfire pet that can spawn adds when it goes down?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I cant believe SoE would limit the spell line for defilers that way so figured I must be incorrect but it never hurts to ask right ~</DIV>

<DIV>When someone dies (receives a killing blow) with Spirit Avenger active, player is saved and a pet (Avenger) is summoned to "grab attention of mob." The pet itself is rather weak, however it does prevent the player you saved from getting killed again immediatly after on most occasions.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The pet is only summoned if said player receives a killing blow. There are only a few encounters where this may not be ideal, otherwise its fine to use and working as intended.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just ask your raidleader if they'd rather have a dead tank or dead pet...</DIV>

To be honest the thing has so few hp's that it will generally die in 2 seconds anyways.   I suppose its theoriticly possilbe that it could be up and then talendor would AE and cause more adds but I've never acctually seen or heard of such a thing happening. Also I agree with the post above its better than a dead tank.<div></div>

Well, i suppose if you use it on the mt on talendor, and it goes off, it would be better to get 2 extra adds then a dead MT <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>
