Master spells - where are they dropping?

I haven't seen a single master spell drop for a defiler at t7 yet, mostly cleric spells.. Ive had to pay for the ones I have, but Im wondering where they are dropping for people? I never see the lvl 70 ones for sale either so are they more rare? Im new to 70 so haven't had much xp yet in the instances and high lvl zones. Any info would be good<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Level 61 spells drop only in Tenebrous Tangle. 62-69 spells can be found in group zones like SoS, Nest, Den, PoA, and HoF as well as Lab, Lyceum, Crab and Roost raid zones. These are pretty common on my server. Not many defilers in t7...Level 70 masters drop rarely on level 70 group mobs in PoA. Nektropos:Tribulation drops only lvl 70 masters and one has dropped every time I've been in (but I'm lucky like that). I would also assume that Nizara would drop high level masters including lvl 70. HoS and Deathtoll raid zones both drop level 70 masters. Technically a master of any level should be able to drop off any mob of that level with the exception of previous expansions. I looted both a level 68 inquis heal and a level 70 coercer spell off solo mobs in the monk trials in FD.

People were farming that 4 spawn room in Den when KoS first went live during offtimes. I spent about 4 hours there one day and we walked away with about 7 T7 masters, all 65+<div></div>

<div></div><div></div>Well after any expansion, there is always some drop areas that need to be fixed because of silly drop rates of masters or anything else - and as you clearly pointed out, you went home with SEVEN 65+ masters in 4 hours. Im not quite sure how it helps to answer the OP's question since he can't exactly go back in time and take advantage of that drop rate imbalance that you capitalised on 6 months ago (and which now has undoubtaly been fixed). Unless you actually believe that people can still farm that room and get those frequent drops, all that post helped with is for you to gloat about that moment from a while back and us to go 'mmhmm, thanks for that, how wonderful for you' <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> And no it didn't answer the question either - the word 'were' has not been used but the word 'are' in 'where are they dropping'.... <DIV>I realize that this is an older thread but worth a bump.  We've been finding a ton of defiler masters in our regular groups off of trash mobs---SoS and HoF.  SoS has been dropping most of the masters for us and never off of names, just the trash mobs.  I am one happy little defiler now having 6 masters all 60+.   Of course I'm only a baby defiler sitting at level 42 but now I really have incentive to level.  Everytime a master chest now drops, the running joke is that it will be a defiler master.  Awesome luck for this little defiler.</DIV>

Ive been doing Nek castle once a day and as a Result I have 2 of my 70 masters.   I'd say a master spell drops in there 3 out of every 4 runs.  Making it THE place to get 70 masters IMO. <div></div>

I have seen "new" lvl 70 M1s drop at NEK3 and Deathtoll.  Not sure what's going on, but it looks like there is a lvl 70 spell for each class that is otherwise unavailable via sage/adept1 drops that are dropping as M1s.Anyone see a "new" lvl 70 defiler spell yet?I've seen a Warden lvl 70 cure spell and a lvl 70 necro.<div></div>

    Im not sure what you mean.   I have gotten Mealstrom (70) which I had before as an adept I  and Carrion Bulwark (70) which I had as an Adept III before.  Both in Nek castle.  I saw imperious accreation on the broker so...  Mabye I'm just confused as to what you mean by "new" spells.<div></div>

I mean I have seen 2 completely "NEW" lvl 70 spells drop in NEK3 and off Tarinax.  Both of these spells have no Sage recipes, do not drop as A1s and both of my raid buddies were shocked to see a spell for their class they had never heard of.Wondering if their is a lvl 70 defiler one out there.<div></div>

not sure on the specifics but Defiler masters are definitely dropping.  I hadn't made it to my guild's raids in a few weeks and they have 3 defiler masters sitting in the bank for me =)<div></div>
