Okay, I'm going to level up my Defiler and have just started looking at armor. Is there anything special I should think about except the usual? I have the Grayruin Hauberk chestplate from HoF and the crafted Vultak leggings... Hat, well, I'll probably just go for the hat quest <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I also have a few xegonite spare, should I use them for other parts or are there any bits that are easy to get with matching stats? Thanks<div></div>

<DIV>There is some niced dropped legendary stuff like Mantle of the Orate that can be purchased for a very reasonable price on the broker.     Just use the search function for class/level, etc.</DIV>

There is a Shaman class hat that is equipable at 62 that drops in Sanctum of Scale off a named right by the ring event (the one you need a trial stone for). I still wear that, until I get my Hooluk hat, that quest is pretty long.Mantle of the Orate is nice, I have yet to find decent leggings and I don't want to pay 4pp for a set of the Vultuk. Honestly, it is hard to find decent stuff on the broker. If you can get a couple groups together you can two group stuff in T6 for nice Fabled stuff too. Just picked up a Divine Cinture off Dinree last night in Gates of Akhet Aken (epic Living Tombs), definitely worth wearing if you haven't done the HQ for the Bone Clasped Girdle.Court of Al'Afaz (Shimmering Citadel Epic) is full of Shaman loot, got some nice shoulders out of there and a neckpiece that are worth wearing still. Gears you up nice until you can find better anyway.Raven68 Defiler<div></div>

Any crafter who is over lvl 60 can make them -- just need to get the peice from Egg and have that person go with you with the 12 roots and 12 mythical filament ( I think )  into Egg and craft the item - assuming that they have the receipe also.  I am lvl 70 and still where my class hooluk hat and mantal of orate... so yes these are peices you should go for.

I like the Enspelled Vultak Eye crafted in Nest in ranged slot.+5 disruption, +20 INT, and 10% chance every hostile spell to cast a self 400 pt ward.  You basically get a permanent 400 pt self ward and if you cast Defile, you get a new 400 point ward every 2 seconds.   Fun for soloing.<div></div>

Yeah, I also had the vultak leggings crafted from a guildie <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> So, the loot from courts, I'm guessing they are no-trade? Meaning I have to gain a few levels for that <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> But thanks for the tip, I'll look in to it <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

Yes, the items from the court are no-trade. That is the case with quite a bit of Fabled gear, which is why it isn't on the broker. If you do the quests in the Villiage of Shin, it is pretty linear so you need to get faction for the Tower in there first. There are a decent pair of cuff for lvl 65 as a reward stats are - 23 wiz, 15 int, 40 health, 80 pwr, 952 divine, +3 ordination., 309 mitYou also get an idol that goes in the charm slot at 65 for one of the Shin quest rewards, you can choose +15 on any statWhat recipe makes from the Nest, and what item make the leggings?Raven 69 Defiler<div></div>

Don't forget the claymore line of quests.  Some very nice rewards along the way, even if your not in a raiding guild.Doloris<div></div>

As far as group instance gear goes, get your bootie into The Vaults of El-Azarid(sp) and get your Tribal Spirtualist Hat, you'll never wear the other hats offered by quests again. Finish the Halls of Seeing quest for your reward item, even though these items have been turned down, the items still have 1200+ in total resists and offer imo better protection then the grayuirn hauberk. Finally get going on the claymore quest line, that quest line has alot of usefull gear all along the way that will provide you many upgrades. I know its a pain in the kiester to get done, getting out of SoS can be a pain, but its totally worth it.  Some of the most usefull items came out of PoA in this quest line, especially if your not in a raiding guild.</div>

i had a spare pair of boots and gloves out of xegonite.some slots drops alot in T7, like chest, head, shoulders are all easy slots to get but some slots have a distinct lack of equipment in the loot table.  boots and gloves options are sparse.<div></div>
