My mentality on it is this:"Don't we already have enough power regen?." Just in general, based on our class, we have more power regen than a mystic. If you want a good hat, just get the tribal spiritists hat.Not all relic pieces can be uber........In fact. most of them are pretty crap. the end lol.Avvmo

It has +10 ministration does it not? If it works like it should and makes you fizzle less, it may be more valuable than FT8.

Thank you all for your input. As I may have pointed out in other posts, I am a Mystic and still learning the Defiler class.

Rad_Ed: I guess Im bit of a FT freak (yes, I know mana regen is capped at 52). I just dont think I can never get enough of it. =) Im usually trading out pieces of different armor for the sake of resists ( I do carry 4 sets of resists gear on me at all times), so any FT piece I can fill in different slots is valuable to me. I usually sacrifice both my rings slots and ear just for resist gear (even my Mark at times) just so I can hover in the 8000 to 10000 range. There are also times we are taking on x4 encounters with two groups, so its times like those when I sacrifice resists in place of filling all my slots with FT gear.

Awmo: I am finding out Defilers are better equipped to feed themselves mana than Mystics are. I do agree with you...I actually much prefer to have a full set of Doomseer gear over the Relic. As a Mystic, the only piece I would have liked in my equipment would have been the Relic FT headpiece. I do already have the Tribal hat, but also rather have the "luxury" of saving my HPs when our raid is asked to eat and heal through the AEs.

Sok: Will that help us fizzle less on our Manastones too ? hehe...J/K ~

I took the racial 2.5% power regen options both times. I have only a few pieces of FT gear.I was in the new Hall of Seeing zone Friday. I got myself instant splatted due to too much pre-warding on a named. A healer in MT grp going down on pull is usually a wipe but we won. I was rezed with no power and ended up at the end of the fight with 1/3 power. Using conj shards, necro hearts, Forced Can, manastone 1, manastone 2, Doomseer pants, power potion and Dirge in grp I was able to not only spam my debuffs, but my regen was so good I ended the fight with 1/3 power whereas all the other healers were asking for new shards in Ventrillo. I think Bane proc'ed like 12 times off one cast. The only FT gear I have is Godking weapon (14), Earring (2), Wristguard (1).

Message Edited by sostrows on 05-07-2006 12:04 PM

Tribal clas hat is the best plus If you can get your hands on a master FC you are set. Plus I still use my manastone and Vessel in those rare dragout long battles. I saty away from flowing thought items and go for more resists or base stat gear.

I like having FT gear in my bags, but not equipped. I will switch into them as the battle starts. This way, I am getting the max power from my regular gear, but also taking advantage of FT. Additionally, should I fall in battle and is rezzed, having FT items already equipped is a big help.

Would like to get godking but owell -

I love my FT items - was in a raid on Saturday in Lab and the mobs just didn't like me finally decided I would buff up group and tank AFTER mob was pulled. FINALLY I DIDN'T DIE!!!! I was one of only 2 peeps who were killed and NO i didn't preward so dont know why he liked me so much.

It was then that I realized the true power of my FT I have a Draconic book ( IV ), ring ( II ), earing ( III ), Wrist ( VI ), and of course using the shard - manastone and cannablize and I was able to muscle out enough heals and pwr to also end with about 1/3 pwr. I usually go for as much FT as I can and to bad it doesn't stack otherwise I could have more hehe.

Happy Healing.

Mana Font is around 1200 or so power over I think it's 10-20 seconds.. Don't have the exact number.. but that ability can be a life saver when you get one-shotted on a pull.. The re-use is 30 minutes.. but if you're dieing and being rezzed so much that the recast would be an issue, then you're doing something wrong =P

I have to agree though.. I have so much natural regen, and clicky items / potions / shards etc.. that I can get one-shotted and have enough power to finish a named encounter after a rez. I like the stats on the Helm better than the FT.. and I swap that and the Tribal helm in and out as I need.

I was told that if you have a 3 and a 3 that it doesn't total 6 -- one of them gets cancelled - is that wrong? I would totally relook at some peices then if thats the case!
