What are our spells based on? For example, is Abhorrent Seal magic? noxious? what? I ask becaus I would like to THINK it's noxious, but Bane of Shielding is ELEMENTAL if you get it casted on you by a mob >< <div></div>

Some are disease and some are poison. I had this parser called Adventure Assistant that would parse damage by resist type also but I had client/OS issues with parser so I went back to ACT.Dualing someone is the easiest way to find out. I just assumed they were all noxious based.<div></div>

Assuming they ARE even noxiois, do we land debuffs better if noxious has been debuffed? How are the resists calculated? Is it based on their theoritcal resist "type," is it simply based on the tier of the spell? Do they even HAVE a resist type? It may seem simple when talking about spells... but I just find it extremely odd that to remove the Bane line you use elemental cure - but does that mean the spell is elemental based? And then when you look at melee CAs... If it's "shield bash" is that crushing, piercing, slashing or something else? Some of the bow skills are heat... and some are piercing, do the mobs get an additional cahcance to resist the heat one based on heat as well a physical parry/avoid? <div></div>

I know fighting some T5 mobs that were Immune to noxious that I was limited to non-attack spells as everything at the time was resisted. This was pre-DOF. I havent seen too many expansion boss mobs that are noxious immune (or extremely high resist) though Gates had a few and frog in Court of Al'Afaz.I imagine in the game code there is an Immunity flag whereas they may give Venekor like 2x normal noxious resist so that it's very hard to land a disease attack but not impossible. Our debuffs are noxious for sure.I will have to dual with my buddy tomorrow and do some parsing.<div></div>

<DIV>open up your debuff with putrefy, attacks are easier to land and that will decrease wisdom and its only 1 sec cast ,and 30 meter range debuff at 25 meter range</DIV>

there is no more mobs immunne to poison n disease, the change happen late in t6 but they change that since there was no immune mob for other magic type wich was kinda unfair.also the spirit companion inflicts piercing damage not crush
