Question about AE dmg spell

   What is the first lvl that we receive an AE dmg spell.  I was told by a couple defilers, in game, the other night, that we get one in the early 20s.  I just hit lvl 23 and still don't see one.  I also looked on all the information spell-wise that I could find and came up with nothing.  Thanks for any info in advance.<div></div>

At level 32 you get the first spell in the Aphotic line - http://www.freewebs.com/ryokousha/Games/EQ2/defiler-spelltable.html in the stickied post shows all the spells 1-60 in a nice table.<div></div>

<div></div>the only AE we get in the 20s is the AS Rabies and then only if you select that tree.

As mentioned, the 'Aphotic' line is a *group* DoT -- i.e. it will affect linked mobs only.AFAIK, our first true indiscriminate AoE damage spell is our level 65 class spell "Defile".  It's a true AoE in that it doesn't care if mobs are linked, and does progressive damage -- the lower the HP of the mob, the more damage it does.Pretty handy spell in the right situations, but, as Elmer Fudd might say...
