<div></div><div></div><div></div><div>As someone who is now taking the class seriously and is thinking of replacing their main with a defiler alt one thing is concerning me greatly about the class - the amount of mana we get through during a fight.</div><div> </div><div>Blimey, warding/healing/debuffing and letting off the occasional DoT certainly takes it toll on the mana (its not uncommon that after one fight I've done half of my 'blue line' - something I've never had a problem with as a conjurer) has anyone else noticed this, if not what am I doing wrong? if so what do you more seasoned defilers do about it? I'm thinking about stocking up on drinks but I'm wondering if there's something I maybe doing wrong.</div><div> </div><div>Thanks for any advice.</div><div> </div><div> </div><p><span class="time_text"></span> </p><p><span class="time_text"></span> </p><p>Message Edited by Jabbso on <span class="date_text">03-29-2006</span><span class="time_text">01:11 PM</span></p>

<div></div>at lvl 62 we get a manatap spell that gives 60 regen per tick at master1. After that youll never run out of power ever. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<div></div><div></div><div></div>manastone HQ once you can get it done.I picked every power over time racial or character progression option I couldGroup with a enchanter or bardSorcerers give a power item you can hotkeylvl 52 mana gain spellmanastone 2.0 at 55+ but it's a long, tough questFlowing Thought equipment which starts to drop around level 40+, typically Legendary or Fabled.Prismatic weapon (50+)Godking weapon (60+)I used to buy very good drinks up till about lvl 50. After level 50, I rarely bought drinks and since 60, I havent bought a drink even during grind sessions. We have alot of spells and options to use, alot of tools in our bags. It's very tempting to use every spell every fight. Sometimes, although it's slower, it might be better just to use the more mana effecient DOTs than our nuke etc and let the DPS do their job. Before LU-13, it was ALOT worse for mana use.<div></div><p>Message Edited by sostrows on <span class="date_text">03-30-2006</span><span class="time_text">02:48 AM</span></p>

<div></div><p>I still use good drink even at lvl 63, and rarely buy good food. Though don't have as much FT as I would like - and yes the manastone is a MUST for a healer. Though I don't typically run out of power much but there is a group of us that usually run together which includes a Dirge ( lvl 68 - grumble grumble { cuz he's my hubby } ) and an alliance member who is an illusy. ). Even when soloing though the long fights I have rarely run out of pwr and with the right HO combos can take down a white ^. The yellow just hits a little harder than I wish hehe.</p><p>I have also made it a #1 priority to have ALL my heals at Adept 3 - always chosen my M2 choise as a ward, etc. This does help on the mana usage also. ( Now just to get some moonstones for those lvl 68, 69, and 70 heal replacements. hehe )</p><p>- Happy Hunting!</p>
