<div>I know Defilers are not a DPS class, but how much lower is thier DPS than the Druids.</div><div>I keep hearing about Fury and Warden DPS but dont have a great read on how much lower the Defilers are.</div><div>Is the DPS just so low that in group you dont really bother with it?</div><div>I have grouped with a Templer and his DPS was so low it was not really worth doing.</div><div> </div><div>I was also wondering if increasing Intel helps the amount of damage done.</div><div> </div><div>Thanks</div>

<div></div><p>Yes int raises spell damage and str increases melee damage for defilers too. Due to our spells having low base damage increasing int wont be as massive as for ie a wizard, but the % damage increase should be the same. Same for str.</p><p>Before lvl 65 i would say templar and defiler dps is about the same, after 65 defilers have a edge with defile over the hammer. The balance is definitly so small that who is better dps is dependent on stuff like AA's, how much int, skill and possible proc gear.</p><p>Imo its always worth to dps as a healer no matter what healer you are, IF you have the time to do it of cause. Your dps might be the same as the difference between a adept 1 vs a adept 3 dps class so your group would definitly benifit from it. (adept 1 dps + healer nuking = adept 3 dps or adept 3 dps + healer = master 1 dps. speculations but everything adds up in the end to you having a better group able to do things faster).</p>

The nice thing about many of our damage abilities is that they are also tied to a debuff, so why not cast them if you have the time =)<div></div>

ive seen templar dps and they are far from us, a buddy of mine takes 10mins to kill a double down blue moba dn it take me 30secs. i think we have really good dps for a healer class, but i would like to do more<div></div>

<div></div><p>Well I find on pvp that my defiler is very hard to beat solo, even con and one or two levels up cant beat me. I just through up wards start debuffing then start with the dots. Usually the oppenent runs off before I can finish them off however, oh how I wish I had a snare.</p><p>In group settings we do very well, my groups have gone up against other groups where everyone conned orange and yellow and generally win.</p>

I think SOE went with the mitigation we have vs. dps on our spells... figure this:Druids: Lousy leather armor, high dpsShamans: Chain armor, middling dpsClerics: Plate armor, wretched dpsSeems like a logical and reasonable tradeoff. Next time somone whines that druids have such better dps, remind them that the poor sods are only wearing a thong.

<div>I am a 64 Fury looking around for info for my bro who is a Defiler. As a fury we do more damage on multiple mobs, but on single we can still put out about 250dps. On multiple around 450. This is also consistantly, I have put out around 680 before. While grouping with my brother who is a 57 Defiler he is putting out after debuffing the mob and all about 80-95dps, which isn't bad considering he has to debuff the mob first before damaging it.</div>
