level 26 Defiler needs a bit of advice

<div>I've got a Defiler alt that I'm planning to play more often, but before I go much further I need some regarding which spells I need to obtain at a higher level than Adept 1. I play her solo about 1/3rd of the time, and duo with a friend's alt the other 2/3rds. The friend's alt can either be his Assassin or his Shadowknight, depending on the mood he happens to be in.</div><div> </div><div>So, which are the spells I'll be getting that I'll need to invest more than Adept 1 in? <div>I tried making my debuffs master 2, but not I'm a firm believer of making my single ward master 2.  In general, you should upgrade the spells you use the most.</div><div> </div><div>I like having my Baleful line at Master 1, but I got a good deal on my last one.  Also, If you only do yellows, whites and lower adept 1 should be fine, the Adept 3s and Masters are mainly for playing over your league and killing oranges.</div><div> </div><div>Still, I mainly upgrade based on availability.</div>

I would not take the group ward as a master II choice unless you want to be tanking (which you probably will if you're grouping with an assassin). It's a huge aggro magnet.

<div>For mostly duoing/soloing i would upgerade my damage spells at lower lvls, there shouldnt be need to have adept 3 heals/wards/buffs and a lil added damage wpuld make things go easier.</div>

Go to the broker in Qeynos with a Qeynos alt and find which of the four is the most expensive at Master I:ForebodingSacrificial AidDire ShroudSinister CountenanceThen make the most expensive your Master II choice. I found that I could buy the other 3 for under 60-70 gold total.

<div></div><div></div><p>Thanks for all the great suggestions!</p><p> </p><p>I ran her with the Assassin last night, and I definitely need a way to gain aggro better than I currently can. I was casting the group ward just to maintain aggro, rather than needing the ward, and that sloooowww casting time really is a hindrance. I've also got to get the 'sin to raise the level of her Divert, for the same reason.</p><p>You could tell from looking at the spells how clueless I've been with her so far - Fulig. Sphere is at Master II, Contamination is at Adept I, and  Sickening Deprecation is  at Adept III, with the rest either at app1 or app4. I made a beeline for the broker/fence when I got back to town!
