Well I hit level 61 yesterday morning and saw the two upgrades I get. Pretty depressing when the adept 1 is substantially worse then the Master 1 version of the level 47 spell. Since all of my buffs, debuffs, and Wards are in Master 1 (or master 2 for the single target ward) looks like I'll be getting exactly nothing for this expansion until I find the Master 1's for 60+. That's just freaking fantastic WTG Sony.<div></div>
<div></div><p>Abhorrance Master 1 is 32%</p><p>I got the level 62 adept1 upgrade last night and its 24%, Master 1 will probably be 32%. Same spell just more mana cost lol.</p>

<div></div><p>Oh come on, sure the upgrades suck but at level 65 you get a whole new spell called "Defile" :smileysurprised:.</p><p> </p>
<div></div><p>Spell progression was that way with the last expansion too, I am not sure why you are surprised. </p><p>Anything that you have at master 1 or 2 is going to be better than its upgrade, until you get it to at least adept 3 quality. </p>

<div>Incorrect % based debuffs such as Abhorrence are all equal at the same spell level. The first one of the 'Abhorrence' line at Master I is 32%, Abhorrence and its upgrade at master I are 32%. It just costs more power, extremely grey debuffs will also still stick to higher level mobs as its based on your skill in casting. There is no real reason to ever upgrade this line or the 'Degenerate' line once your have a Master I anywhere in it. Its been this way since Lu13.</div>

<div>the only reason they aren't upgrades is because the spell effectiveness is currently based on player skill not spell level. I'm sure if enough people complain they can fix that. It's probably already on the things to do list.</div><div> </div>
<div></div><p>Not sure I really understand this... I thought the higher levels of abhorrence allows you to successfully cast on higher level mobs (ie. malignancy won't be resisted by level 67 mobs like abhorrence would be). Any clarification would be much appreciated.</p><p> </p><p>Osler</p>

<div>that's how it is supposed to work it just doesn't. You could get a master 2 of it early and just use that throughout your career, at least until the big fix.</div><div> </div>
