Defile (is it that bad?)

<div>I'm starting a defiler as my "new" main (wanna be a healer in my guild on the new PVP server).  I see a lot of dissent about the spell "Defile" and I admit the damage seems meager.  BUT it says that the damage increases as the enemy gets closer to death.  Are there any parses of the damage from Defile as a function of time?  Maybe we start getting upwards of 2000 every 2seconds, maybe not.  I was just wondering if anyone had information on this.  Thanks</div>

<div>right now the damage does not increase as the mob approaches death.  This spell is obviously broken so most of the outcry is overdone.  Wait until the spell is fixed, hopefully soon.</div>

The problem with Defile has nothing to do with the damage - the problem with Defile is that it is completely and utterly in every way outstripped by the Mystics level 65 spell.  Once your guild's first Mystic hits 65 your guild will NEVER want you in the MT group, ever again, under any circumstances.  The marginal yet real advantage that we have now will vanish in a poof of smoke and a bad spell design.  If I wanted to do damage, I'd log on a damage class.That is where the problem with Defile begins and ends.  Anything more, any arguments about what kind of damage it does, if it scales (which right now it doesn't), is just fluff.<div></div>

The problem with a marquee spell that features solely offensive features (whatever they may be) for a healer class should be obvious to anyone.Give it to the Templars, they are the ones asking for more DPS.<div></div>

<div>As for PvP Sever a Defiler would be best i think out of all the healer class's from buffs to debuffs from heals to wards they have this and they do good Damage for being a healer . dont forgit they all so have Fear alot of the points that make them a killer PvP class and still being a healer what means wanted alot for exp groups / raiding . <div>Ahhh ya . it means just as i put it . a Defiler would make a good class on a PvP sever . as for Defile being a Damage spell would Add to the Damage a defiler could bring out if needed . but thats the some of the spell it sucks less you are a Defiler on a PvP sever what most of us are not . an atm only PvP test sever is up so in any cace spell is down right wrothless for group exp / raiding and even soloing unless you killing groups of Grey PoS mobs .
