Defiler Duo Suggestions

Hello everyone... new EQ2 player here and also a newbie Defiler (Level 17 atm).  My friend wants to start playing as well and so I was curious what you all think would be the optimal class to duo with a Defiler and grind as quickly as possible through the early and mid levels?  Note: We're both going to be evil.We were currently considering:BruiserBerzerkerNecromancerWhich would be the most efficient (we're looking for constant killing)? Would any of the Scout classes be even better than the suggestions above?Thanks in advance!<div></div>

<div></div>I duo with a ranger all the time, we can take just about everything. Cleared Poets palace duo <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Took a long time to get the keeper down, and bout 200 deaths but we got it. But rangers are good so won't help ya. Any scout class I'd say would rock. But if you don't mind being in dif towns def. have your friend go ranger <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<div></div><p>Necro.  Put the Defiler in the rear on second machine and use the Necro pet to tank.</p><p>You have everything with that duo.  Neither class runs out of power and your debuffs enhance the Necros damage.</p>

<div></div>I recently leveled a defiler to 60 and my main is a 60 warlock. I was pleasantly surprised how well these 2 classes worked together. My defiler leveled from 45 to 60 duoing with my warlock and the levels just flew by. It's probably not the best combination but it definitely works.

<div></div>Casters are a fine pair for leveling, the defiler and caster will be able to kill ^^^s for the quickest experience, probably at a faster rate than a fighter class could, the same goes for the higher DPS scout classes.  However, if you are concerned with what you will be able to kill in the end with the pair as far as named heroics/epics for loot, a fighter class would make a far better choice.  A bruiser(as well as any tank I'm sure) and a defiler can duo any heroic named out there, and a lot of epics as well.  Brawler classes and Berserkers also have very respectable DPS and leveling with them would not be slow by any means.

Berzerker and Bruiser are really gear dependent to be effective duo, necro is really spell dependant.Given the three choices, I would take the berzerker.Killing will be the slowest but, if you decide you want a full group you can pretty much just grab whatever is LFG for the last 4 spots. Bruisers can tank but, I would take a plate tank of equal level / gear over him any day just from my experiance with both from low 30's to low 50's in group and duo sitautions.<div></div>
