<div>Greetings to my fellow shamans,</div><div> </div><div>First of all, I know that shaman wards are not suppose to stack and agree with that decision. I belong to a raid guild on the Antonia Bayle server and find myself on raids with fellow shaman quite frequently. When fighting content I often cast my wards on the main tank, as do the other shamans. Because of the non stackability clause in the ward we are overriding each other and basically fighting to keep our wards on the tank.  This becomes very annyoing because we cannot tell each other fast enuff if we are warding.  There is a buff list on the MT but of course so many buffs are flying on and off him at one time its hard to see my ward icon on him. My solution to this would be, everytime the tank gets his ward refreshed to instead of remove my ward icon, refresh it. So I can tell if the ward is on him or not, and can make an accurate judgement when to refresh a fellow raid members ward.</div><div> </div><div>Thank you</div><div> </div><div>-Kontra</div><div>-Antonia Bayle</div>

<div>that is correct, I can see my ward on maintain window, until another shaman casts ward and cancels mine off. So whats happening is i cast my ward, and immedietly other shaman see's his ward drop so he recasts, thus making my ward drop, so its like a continual fight to keep our wards up when we are in fact only lasting 3-5seconds.  So Id like it if as long as the ward is on the tank, whoever casts it, I can see it on maintain window, So if I notice the ward at 25secs duration I know to refresh it, regardless of who cast it. I just hate the fact that im fighting with my fellow shamans to maintain a buff,  We waste so much mana and time by doing this</div>

<div></div>really no way to get around this, you can make a chat channel and macro cordinate your wards. Its just something that you have to work out with the defilers in your raid. Normally the shaman inside the MT grp will take care of keeping up wards, and the shaman out side MT grp will do mainly healing.

<div></div><p>/agree with Ed..</p><p>When we have multiple shamen on raids.. it works like this.. MT Shammy is in control of Group ward, and group related spells like Spiritual Circle, group heals, and cures.. Out of group shamen are responsible for single wards and heals / debuffs.. if we have more than 2 on a raid.. one will be dedicated to single wards and Debuffs, as the other is dedicated to heals and debuffs.. It's just a matter of splitting them all around so no one person is responsible for more than any other.. that way power is never an issue, and you're not stepping on eachothers toes all the time..</p>

<div></div>We do it just like Duntz cept sometime we have a Defiler-Mystic combo in MT grp.  Either way, I always let the Mystic do the grp ward.If you have a HARD hitting mob, you can both single ward as the ward will come down fast enough that overwriting you only lose ~10% of a wards lifespan on average but this would be only after your able to stick all your debuffs.  I almost never have mana issues so that small overwriting is minor.  Either way, the shaman-clerics can pretty much the druids feel useless for healing on a weak raid mobs.<div></div><p>Message Edited by sostrows on <span class="date_text">02-02-2006</span><span class="time_text">10:34 AM</span></p>

"Out of group shamen are responsible for single wards and heals / debuffs."Duntz -Maybe I don't understand, but can out of group Shaman actually single ward the MT?  I was pretty sure that none of the class special heals (HOT/Reactive/Wards) could cross party lines?  Please let me know community if that is correct or not.  I do agree on the debuff/heal part of that statement.

<div></div>As for Ward stacking a defilers whole line stacks with each other . being a raiding Defiler and in MT most the time . you got to love droping 5 wards in a short time . kick off group ward then kick odd you single ward then pop off you ward pet and you single and group 0 casting time class wards . talk about ward powa there thats why Defilers are the master of wards . as for stacking with others our wards dont stack with mystics but hey why need a mystic when you can have a defiler in group and our wards dont stack with cleric class's ward heals .... Unholy lvl 60 Defiler of Everfrost
