I have the same legg and the Bilecoated legging, which have sta, but less power. All and all its a pretty nice legg for defiler. Secondly the book is a symbol, symbols can be equip by mages, priest, and crusaders. The deflection stat is a bug and shouldnt be there, but i fail to see what the problem is <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> theyre both awesome and probably upgrades for you <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div><div> </div><div><img src="http://www.kilaelya.com/images/sigs/emanjialt.jpg"></div>

<div></div><p>First of, was this just meant as a look at what I got post?</p><p>The legs are obviously healer based. 25 wis, 90 power, 5 ministration.  As for the 10 agi, and 50 health, have you ever gotten agro??  Avoidance and HP, that allows you to survive a little longer.</p><p> </p><p>As for the Tome of Dark Knowledge, just because it says it is usable by X class, doesn't mean its meant for them. Tomes and most ( 99%) other 0 shield factor items that can be equipped in the ranged and secondary slot are made to be usable for Crusaders,  Mages, and Priests since they don't get a ranged weapon.  This Tome  is obviously made for a crusader, though if a greedy priest wanted it, it has something there for them.  As for a Mage, you are correct, no self respecting mage would use up their dkp's for this. </p>

<div>Wow.... I thought us defilers should stick together since there isn't very many of us.  This is NOT a ohhh lookie what I got or a thread about me complaining about the items.  First off, Im very happy with the items, I never said I wasn't.  I know in the past once the attention was made to the dev's,  if they saw fit, a correction would be made.  Thats all I'm hoping for.   So, for the few that had negative comments for me about this post... go fly a kite.  Everyone knows that equipment in the game is flawed and if you don't bring this stuff to the attention of the dev's then it won't be fixed.  All, Im trying to do is help our little community and I get ragged on for it. But thats cool, I've learned my lesson. </div><div> </div>

<div></div><p>Why do you put INT over AGI?</p><p>Do you feel it increases your group DPS that much that it is worth sacraficing durability?</p><p>I am new to the healer thing as this is my first ever healer toon in any game.  But my thoughts are be the best buffer/debuffer/healer I can be and if I add some DPS at some point then great.</p><p>I can see why you want INT solo but not for groups small or large.</p><p>(Reading my own post I sound argumentitive but I am actually trying to learn not argue)</p>

<div></div>It's a tough call.  The extra DPS trioing might be significant if you have three lower DPS classes and you're not getting hit.I'm not saying ignore AGI like STR, but I am usually in groups where I don't get hit.  If you find you seem to get hit alot trioing or you are tanking for a dual/trio grp or want the extra 3% avoidance and piece of mind then going AGI over INT might work for you.  I would just play with both stats. Also there is this nagging issue I've never seen answered from a dev about whether INT factors into fizzle %.  I've heard it does and does not.<div></div><p>Message Edited by sostrows on <span class="date_text">02-01-2006</span><span class="time_text">01:52 PM</span></p>

<div>My Illusionist has 442 INT and then pulses up to 553.  This is without anyone else buffing INT.</div><div> </div><div>I still fizzle on my Pris Havoc all the time.  Very frustrating.</div><div> </div><div>I think there is no corelation between fizzle and INT.  I think it is skill level based vs the spell level.  Nothing more.</div>

Thanks, I trolled around some other threads and so INT does not factor into fizzle rate.<div></div>

Its all about the STA Baby <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.  All the xtra HP is good since we just took down POS last night. I use the bile coated when xp'ing and turned away those chain leggings because they just werent all that great. I am looking forward to the new stuff in expansion.  The only thing I really want in the game right now are the gloves that pof barakah drops the ring from godking and the Umbra chainmail torso.<div></div>

The prophet leggings got a cool look to it. But I got the light leggings the day before and the  prophet leggings wasnt going to be that much more of an increase except for the mitigation.  Just need to upgrade my hands really really bad running around with Scimenstras gauntlets. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>
