Level 29 defiler... How do i solo?

<DIV>     Hey everyone, im a level 29 defiler and am loving the class, but i have one problem, i cant solo at all!. I know im a priest class and not supposed to be a great soloer, but i have full AQ gear and most spells adept 1, but i can barely manage two blues with down arrows. Just got the splitpaw expansion and this is what made me realize i cant solo,  sop any tips on how to solo more effectively? also it seems like i havent gotten a direct-damage spell like grey wind upgrade in awhile, do defilers get more direct dmg or do we start doing all DoT? thanks in advance and help appreciated</DIV><p>Message Edited by Frosted Orcs on <span class=date_text>01-01-2006</span> <span class=time_text>08:19 PM</span>

<div></div>Hmm, I can generally take on groups of yellow down arrows and win every time. Usually when I'm starting off I'll cast a ward on myself, cast all my dots, and then start doing the HO's between the dot and direct damage spell. Then basically continuing the process with each mob and casting wards/heals when needed, but I usually go for the wards then heal when my health gets a bit low (also attacking with my weapon: one handed and a shield).
