Have you ever successfully cast Ghostly Avenger?

I have this spell in my emergency bank of spells but I have NEVER cast it successfully. I always seem to be frantically trying to ward, heal, or running for my life when this spell might be useful. I was just wondering when you have used it successfully if at all. Please share your stories.<div></div>

<div></div><div></div>I have't got that spell yet, but the previous one is the same and I use it on MT when things start to get out of hand, or if someone else in the group gets overrun by adds when the MT misses to grab the adds. I don't use it on myself since from my experience it doesn't make any difference, the mob wont stop attacking u so ur gonna die anyway. <DIV>it comes in handy during tough raids. it can make the difference between a wipe and failure, or giving another healer enough time to get off their big heal after being revived with spell. I have used it many times and it does help prevent failures at times </DIV>

I have used it frequently, it's my "Oops this farker is going to die!" spell. I use it rarely in groups, as I rarely get into the situation in which the tank is going to go down, train situations are about it. However it has saved many a raid with a main tank going down. Toss it on them in the red, and follow with a ward/heal and usually you can get them back up on their feet for the other healers to take over.

I've used it successfully many times since revamp.  Pre-revamp it was real sucky. I have it hotkeyed next to my solo ward and also have it in a "Oh [Removed for Content]" macro with Purulence.  If the tank hits 25%, I'll pop Avenger as a rule of thumb.  I sometimes use it on a caster or especially a fellow healer in a MT raid group. <div></div>

The most distinct time ive used this spell was once in a sc eye farm raid where our mt "died" 4 times and was ressed by my ghostly avenger and 3 other healers similar spells, that was fun. Shes down ... shes up ... going down ... nope ... dead ... not time time ... now they got her ... wait shes alive :smileyvery-happy:

Can anyone confirm that Eerie Avenger is working properly? You see, I used it a few times in Living Tombs yesterday and after summoning the spirit, he just stood there without attacking the target and of course died shortly after along with me!If its upgrade ghostly avenger 'is' working, can I assume that when you or whatever target you cast it on dies, they recover with a little health and ward 'but' the pet then taunts or tanks instead giving you time to recover?<div></div>

Considering this is a constantly updated spell line through all tiers as an emergency fall back, I hope it is fixed in the upcoming patches.. it'd be nice to have everything working!<div></div>
