Question on Abhorrence line

<DIV>These are the stats on my two most recent spells in the Abhorrence line:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Revulsion, level 21, Adept 1 == debuffs 24%</DIV> <DIV>Loathing, level 35, Apprentice 1 == debuffs 17.6%</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I need to get the Adept 1 upgrade for Loathing still, but that seems like a pretty odd "progression".  It seems like the level 35 spell would be close to if not more effective than the level 21 spell despite not having Adept 1 yet, this is the first case I've personally run into where the higher level spell is just blown away in effectiveness when I first receive it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Is this normal for spells to "upgrade" like this as we get higher in level, or just some weird quirk of this spell line?</DIV>

All the spells of this line decrease the same %: Revulsion decreases 24% at adept 1 Loathing decreases 24% at adept 1 Abhorrence decreases 24% adept 1 However, there is (or is supposed to be) a level limit on this line of spells which prevent you from using the lower version of this spell. That's how is was working, right after the revamp but it may have changed... <div></div>

If I remember correctly, these spells will only effect XX level mob's and below.. or you will simply get a "Target is too powerfull" when trying to cast the lower version on say a level 40 mob.

Certainly not the case anymore.  Revulsion stuck and had noticable effect (max HP change) on Cazel, Ancient Cyclops, and Keeper of Silence (64/65+++ instance bosses) last night.<div></div>

<P><IMG src="http://www.boomspeed.com/levity5/revulsion.jpg"></P> <P> </P> <P>This spell line is not upgrading.  The level 49 spell does the exact same thing as the level 21 spell, but costs twice the power to cast.  They both land the same on any level of mob.</P>
