<DIV>Well since posting screens has become so popular with certain other classes these days, I thought we might as well have one for ourselves as well :smileyvery-happy:. Now, these aren't all spells, just the ones I <STRONG>frequently</STRONG> use at level 50.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><U><STRONG>Healing</STRONG></U></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> <DIV>Oakfallow's is a training at lv20.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The balms both add the disease proc to the healer, instead of to the person healed. This should be changed <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV>Could also use the % and damage info on this proc.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><IMG src="http://img77.exs.cx/img77/1191/heals3pr.gif"></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><STRONG><U>Debuffs</U></STRONG></DIV> <DIV><STRONG><U></U></STRONG> </DIV> <DIV>Look how our level 10 spell owns Atrophy. How sad that it can only be cast on low level mobs.</DIV> <DIV>Also note what happens when you upgrade Atrophy from adp1 to adp3.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Suppuration is supposed to debuff STA, but (like with Atrophy) it doesn't or just doesn't show it.</DIV> <DIV>Of the two damage values shown, the upper one is correct. What the lower one is I can only guess.. maybe the value of app1? Or was that supposed to be the STA debuffing?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><IMG src="http://img102.exs.cx/img102/4176/debuffs6zh.gif"></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><STRONG><U>Damage</U></STRONG></DIV> <DIV><STRONG><U></U></STRONG> </DIV> <DIV>Aphotic Corruption actually ticks for ~88 due to its noxious debuff component.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Both Fuliginous Spheres show incorrect damage, they tick for 104 (coil) -108 (sphere) and the initial damage isn't as high as the description says (its a bit over 90). God knows what else isnt true :smileyvery-happy: Oh, maybe I should've posted them as debuffs, but the thing is, that slow component there isn't much of a debuff.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><IMG src="http://img204.exs.cx/img204/930/damage8qk.gif"></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><STRONG><U>Group Buffs</U></STRONG></DIV> <DIV><STRONG><U></U></STRONG> </DIV> <DIV>I'd appreciate it if someone with app2 Voracity could check the info on it, and test it if it's correct. When I upgraded it to adept1 a while ago, I saw that it gave the exact same STR and STA as the app2 version. Now I don't know if it was fixed already or not, but I do know that the info shown below isnt exactly correct either.. the STA buff is a few points higher.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Difference between adept1 and master1 BE doesn't seem all that much <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I wish we had a power buff instead, like mystics :smileyvery-happy:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><IMG src="http://img205.exs.cx/img205/8371/groupbuffs4kc.gif"></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><STRONG><U>Wards</U></STRONG></DIV> <DIV><STRONG><U></U></STRONG> </DIV> <DIV> <DIV>Carrion Shield still dropping when hit by a DoT. Also, I don't know if it's intended or not, but with group and single wards active at the same time, they still both take full damage instead of actually stacking. Shame.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Bane of Shielding is actually quite nice when it proc's, the only bad thing about it is that it heals <U>me</U> for 250 instead of the tank.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Purulence seems to have some text missing.. here's what it does-</DIV> <DIV>When the mobs destroy it (its timer must <U>not</U> run out) it will spawn Shadow Avenger pets that have about ~120-130 DPS (no I'm not joking, this stuff is great <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />) and will attack <U>only</U> the mob that destroyed the ward. They cannot be ordered anything and will disappear once that mob dies (not at the end of the encounter).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><IMG src="http://img107.exs.cx/img107/3904/wards3lm.gif"></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><STRONG><U>Single Buffs</U></STRONG></DIV> <DIV><STRONG><U></U></STRONG> </DIV> <DIV>Countenance is a great spell but has lacking info. Should add that it changes gender if you're a female. =/</DIV> <DIV>AC bonus isn't being shown correctly (possible for other spell ranks too).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I don't use Harbinger, but I posted the screenie of it so you can compare it to the lv40 training Dark Omen. Oh and Omen adds 13 WIS rather than 11. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><IMG src="http://img64.exs.cx/img64/2888/singlebuffs6rm.gif"></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><STRONG><U>Utilities</U></STRONG></DIV> <DIV><STRONG><U></U></STRONG> </DIV> <DIV>Just thought I'd mention these two-</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The Orison isn't that bad to give a tiny bit of power over time to those that like to use cheap drinks. Works in combat.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Primordial Terror has a very limited use, mostly because of its high power cost and short duration.. so, if you see you're not gonna be able to take out a mob and don't have enough power anymore to sprint- fear, break encounter and run. :smileyindifferent:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><IMG src="http://img205.exs.cx/img205/9973/utility8qo.gif"></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If I wrote anything wrong and if some of you have made your own discoveries you'd like to share, please post them here <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV>Right now there's so many bugged or incorrectly working / displayed things about our spells it's just mindnumbing. :smileysad:</DIV></DIV></DIV><p>Message Edited by Putka on <span class=date_text>03-03-2005</span> <span class=time_text>03:17 PM</span>

I think this is a great post. This kind of information is very informative to those of us that have yet to reach level 50.The bad part of the post is that it exposes Defilers as whimps compared to our Qeynos counterparts. The percentages on our slows are obviously pathetic...It's only a matter of time before Defilers start getting their own parking spaces and zones become equipped with Defiler-friendly ramps...

Although i totally agree with you, some of your information is off because Wailing Haze is Master I and so is Fulignous Sphere. Keep in mind that master spells RULE-Geo

<DIV>Ok Geo, I upgraded Atrophy now. You can all see the difference between adept1 and 3, so could someone please explain to me what has improved? I'm not smart enough to figure it out :smileysad:</DIV>

<DIV>Actually on a more serious note as I'm thinking about it... isn't half the purpose to upgrading skills is that they are Less resisted on higher level mobs?? So tho there isn't much change from A1 - AIII... The number of mobs that this can be used against should greatly increase while the resist rate should greatly Decrease..</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Right?</DIV>

Then again, it could just be a display bug and (hopefully) the upgrade works as intended.</P><p>Message Edited by Putka on <span class=date_text>02-19-2005</span> <span class=time_text>09:05 PM</span>

Putka, You actully use malestorm of dismay? I mean on a regular basis or just for fun when you know you have no chance of dieing. That spell is so disapointing, I hope its a bug to be fixed instead of just being a crappy level 50 spell we get.

<DIV>Added Baleful Efflux (master1)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Nope, I don't use MoD except when I'm trying to kill a horde of lv20 deer (thats where you see how awesome this spell is) or in a group as a third healer fighting greens.</DIV>
yeah MoD kind of bummed me out too I was thinking it was going to be around ~150 damage dot then I got this horrible peice of trash that it is now.

<DIV>Thanks for taking the time to put that together. As a Defiler hitting into my low 40's it is nice to see the layout some use at 50.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Quick question though regarding Wailing haze. it was my understanding that the spell does not work on higher level mobs, and just running around in EL tonight have tried using it but kept getting "Creature to powerful". Am I missing something here?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Addition:</DIV> <DIV>I just updated Loathsome Seal to AD3. The boost over AD1 was ...nothing. Unlike Atrophy, not even the power cost changed. AD1 only debuffed str and agi by 2 more points than app4. Until we find out if the spell descriptions are faulty and/or if the lack of increase is 'as intended,' I think I'll be using future rubies/rhodium on heals, buffs and wards.</DIV>

<DIV>Lol.. very good idea. I just made a rhodium band :smileyvery-happy:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Btw, don't do it, it only gives 5 WIS lol <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<DIV>Added MC adept3</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>comparison-</DIV> <DIV><IMG src="http://img64.exs.cx/img64/2589/countenance1lc.gif"></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>shows the same AC bonus but it did in fact increase for about 20.. hp & power are right though <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> so it's possible that with other spells (like some debuffs) that dont show any increase are actually just display bugs, unfinished descriptions.. /cheer</DIV><p>Message Edited by Putka on <span class=date_text>02-21-2005</span> <span class=time_text>02:32 PM</span>

<DIV>The problem with most of these spells is that the mastery of the spell (when the spell is most effective) Is post 50. You notice that spells that are blue and white have the best values. Having a spell peak out with a 293 skill? Um can you say expansion? Anyways I know what not to waste money on now, thanks Putka.</DIV>

<DIV>well im guessing they plan on implementing tier6 for the 1st expansion hehe :smileyvery-happy: I wouldnt wanna hit lv51 and not have any of my spells get better <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV>It's true that Sacrificial Alleviation is still orange at 50, and when it's white it will probably heal for 1300+.. but, the power cost will be higher as well. The cost scales with levels same as the effect.. so we're not wasting any "potential" that we have with undeveloped spells.. it's the same as with any other level. You still heal a lot more than any lv44 priest.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Putka on <span class=date_text>03-03-2005</span> <span class=time_text>03:21 PM</span>

<DIV>This is an old but good thread. If we can keep updating this it will be a great service to all Defilers. I've got a few adept 3s that arn't up and I'll see if I can post sometime.</DIV>
