I upgraded Spirit of the Bull last night from Adept I to III. The gain was about 4 hps, 1 strength over Adept I--very disappointing. I guess there was an increase to noxious resistance, but I didn't write that stat down before upgrading.I also upgraded Spirit of the Badger last night. Strength was an additional 1 point, AC seemed to be a whopping 74 points higher with adept 3 on vs adept 1, which shocked me. I did write down my AC before upgrading, and re-casting Badger, so I'm pretty confident this is a much better spell. Also being a group spell, I'd say this is an excellent choice to upgrade. On a side note, the bonus 2 points of strength are nice. They put me to 91 strength self-buffed, which allows me to carry 4 (yes 4) 20-slot Briarwood Boxes and not be encumbered--excellent for people that do a lot of harvesting/crafting.

Most buff upgrades suck. Its more or less a rule. I don't think I'll ever get an adept3 buff spell. In fact I don't even have adept3 of important spells yet :/, just not got any rares and I haven't really tried to buy any yet :oI guess I should..
Message Edited by Di0XiDe on 01-06-2005 01:58 AM

Other than heals/wards, the rest of our spells aren't worth upgrading to Adept3.

Like others have posted here, upgraded a buff or self buff only adds another 4 hps and 2 power to the end results. Hardly worth looking for, or spending a rare on.
