<DIV>Im learning the ins andouds of the shamy. Ive been reading how our wards will become lessefficient at high levels, specialy w/o the adept level upgrades. Handling ^^ mobs are understandable and with proper debuffig should be a walk in the park. My question is how are you guys handling the groups of baddies. Say a group of 4 yellows, how do the wards stand up to those since it will be hard to debuff all those mobs fast enough. Do special tricks need to be applied or dose the group wards actually stand up to the onslaught to the weaker but large groups?</DIV>
<DIV>What I've found as a 21st Defiler...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Usually with the tough ^^ mobs, my wards don't last very long. I've had mobs knock them out in two quick hits, but that is when they are using specials. I generally use my wards for two purposes: </DIV> <DIV>1. When someone besides the Tank gets hit. I'll Ward first before healing.</DIV> <DIV>2. On really tough mobs, Healing Ritual is a bit slow to reset, so I'll cast ward just to make sure the Tank doesn't go down while I'm waiting for it to refresh.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Of course all those tactics change if I'm grouped with a Druid. Druid-Shaman combos are amazing!</DIV>

<DIV>Thank you, but I was asking about groups of mobs, not ^^ mobs.</DIV>

<DIV>When attacking groups of mobs, I tend to use group ward on party before pull. It only lasts 20 seconds, but allows the tank to get taunts off. If you use tab key, you can cycle through all mobs being fought. If you have a good tank you can debuff all of them without pulling agro away from tank. Unlike EQ1 you can not debuff a mezzed mob in this game, so if you have a CCer, just assist the MT.</DIV>
