<div></div>So I'm at about 46 or 47 APs right now and I'm almost done with the shammy tree. I put the first one on the dog summon (obviously) then I went 4-4-5-8-1 for the haste, ward proc., and the AE avoidance. I am currently going down the AGI and have gone 4-4-4-5 so far and am going to max out heal crit. since that seems like the only useful one on agi. I am going for a raiding mystic, the first choice for MT shammy and am trying to get the best I can possibly be for what a mystic is supposed to do (top heal parse, debuff) I thought the agi line for heal crit was pretty much a given, but people seem to say int...which I don't get since I don't see anything even remotely close to as useful as a heal crit. People say you should max haste on str, go down sta for the lightning-fast cures, and a very good mystic that I know said that 37% heal increase from the wisdom line was the best thing in the game, I don't think its worth putting 8 in wis since gear can get your wis high enough (what is the wis cap btw?). Also...NO IDEA what to do on the mystic tree. Seems like augmentation and immunities are the only ones even remotely helpful (mystic+dps=no...reduced casting times on revives...yeah, umm, no) all I really want is 5 on SoW because, well, seriously, who doesn't? If you would share your what you have and give some advice for me it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, beforehand.<div></div>
The haste thing is [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]... It has a 20s(?) duration and can't be cast during combat. How lame is that.Go Cures for sure (your niche).5pts to get 20% extra heal, which is worth it especially since the 4pts in wisdom always helps. I macro it /use a Ritual, /usea Transcendence to get a awesome grp heal. Then I do the heal crit, with 8pts in the delay in cast/recast when your dog attacks. Sucks if there are aoes that take out your dog, so if you don't want that put the rest of the pts into extra heal.http://keithratliff.com/eq2/staging/mystic.htm?class=mystic&skills=10444004450044000880000000For mystic tree, all about augmentation, and curing.I maxxed out all of the augmentation tree except the Shadowy Attendent dec recast speed. Then did ancestry (this is a godly spell), inc. all procs by 3%. ***GOLDEN***In the cures I did 5pts in each of the simple cure. The extra ward is capped at 150 for trauma, but so far i got the arcane/noxious/elemental to 300, I will get some adornments up and see if i can get those higher (The +## to healing) works wonders no this. Then I put a point into Immunization: this is awesome if u want a good 15 sec for your MT/OT, great for groups as well. But if you do both cure lines, u not only do fast cheap heals, but also ward at the same time. How cool is that? Do the ward per power conversion and times that by how much power your signle target wards uses and you will be amazed, but remember bump that up with the + to heals gear/adornments.<div></div>

<div></div>I think MOST (not all) lean to the STR 4,4,4,8,8 and INT 4,4,4,8 for raids although dog disillusionment seems to becoming more common as people get fed up with it dying. The 3rd and 4th abilities are nice on INT tree. An extra 800 resists to all types is a good thing. Aura of warding from the STR tree is probably the single best dog raid ability especially if you are in the MT group. If you did the above setup you'd have 2 points left to spend. Could go wherever you preferred really. Edit..oops 1 point left...forgot about point one for the dog.Haste is permanent not 20 secs. It has been bugged forever though in that it must be cast again every time you zone. Once it is cast (out of combat) it will stay up until the dog dies. Some do like the heal crits too. I don't think either is a wrong or bad choice. I think all the Mystic trees other than augmentation are pretty pitiful for raiding. I guess take what you view as the least worthless. I for one don't raid exclusively but do some group and even (gasp) solo on occasion so I like the melee line. I took it along with STR and AGI (wanted melee crits to augment the mystic melee attacks). <div></div><p>Message Edited by Dkel on <span class=date_text>01-22-2007</span> <span class=time_text>04:55 PM</span>

<DIV>Reason most raiding MT mystics don't take the crit heals is that you don't cast heals that often - i know that sounds dumb but you leave those to the druids and other heals - different if you are mostly in OT or grps 3 & 4. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Shaman-tree cures are a bit lame other than the trauma one - IF you cast a cure and YOU cure it then there is a small ward left IF that spell type lands again - fine for Trauma but many of the others will just expire. The mini-sanctuary at the end of the cure line makes little sense - the MT Temp will always cast theirs, it is 30secs and works for the whole grp versus our baby 15second single target version.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Ancestry is a fantastic reason to have an MT mystic (cast on MT Temp), unfortunately it is a little hard for many Raid Leads to understand the spell so be prepared to get dumped regularly for sub-par defilers (i'm not bitter .... honest). A macro saying...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>***Casting uber-Ancestry spell on Templar*** Stoneskin will proc 30% more - eat you heart out defilers....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>helps a bit <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Would that mean the Wis line thing (37% heal more) doesn't effect wards either? If so, screw that, keeping Str and going Sta for 8 on cures. Prob gonna put max on everything in augmentation, then maybe 2 or so in all the cures...would 5 in ancient balm not be helpful though? /shrug anyways...still up for comments/suggestions and noone answered my question so i'll ask it again...what is the Wis cap?</div>
No it does... but, I find myself hardly healing during a raid, unless the other healers can't keep up. I am usually in the OT grp and my main responseibilty is debuffing the mob, and believe me it makes a difference. Other than debuffs I mainly throw up Torpor and Bolster and keep those up as often as possible. However, If I would be a MT healer... (Ancestry for the win), then heal crits would be a lot more important. The one reason I do the cures, with Mystic tree ward addon is sometimes I am asked to do a blind spam cure of affliction xxxx. Just to make a fight go smooth.a reason for the cure line is that if a nasty elemental lands on my grp... I got single cures, and the faster i get those off the better. There are a lot of options to go down for AA's, but it really depends on what you are required to do in game.<div></div>
