After my elation and dispair over my Herbal Expertise AA not working the way I thought it would I'm left to trying to decide if I should respec or not as a Mystic. I would ultimately like to be a better healer as a Mystic and am contemplateing taking the Cure AA enhancements in the future to get to the Immunities special. Since I have already unlocked Herbal Expertise I'm curiuos how much of a ward is added to the Cure spells through the AA enhances. Is it in any way comparable to our primary ward or is it more like the ward in the armor enhancement that runs of off Conc. I could potentially think that Herbal Expertise + Enhancements to the Cure line + our existing wards could work out well. Any ideas on such at all??

I too had taken the Mystic cure aa line in the beginning to get to Immunities, because it seemed like a really useful skill. I had hoped it would protect players against the charming every other raid mob does in EoF.Sadly, from what I've seen, it doesn't. It was kind of useful when I knew an AE was coming, but again, EoF raid mobs sometimes have 2 or more AE's that fire pretty fast. Being able to block ONE person every 3 minutes from being affected by an AE with a control effect is a sad and underwhelming way to spend 21 aa points. As for the cure wards, they're just as lackluster. I think the elemental, noxious and arcane cure wards go up to a 300 hp ward against their respective damage type. The trauma cure and Ancient Balm cure wards, being arguably the most useful since trauma just = melee dmg which = most common, and balm being a one click cure-all, have closer to a 150ish ward on them. These amounts are nominal by anyone's standards, and why we got the major shaft on this whole AA line is beyond me.So yeah, in theory Herbal Expertise + the enhance cures line would equal a much more powerful and efficient way to keep effects off of your group, but in practice it just doesn't deliver.

This is really sad. Herbal Expertise (from shaman tree) and the enhance cures line (from mystic tree) should in theory create a fast casting remover with a protection capability (ward). This would make an very useful and almost unique combination for difficult raid mobs. Again to echo, if it worked.

So with AA points in the mystic line 'wasted' in rez and cure line the only other line to spend left over points is the damage line. Maybe ironic here. In the Shaman tree, we are given an understrenthed pet (send the pet in, keep the mystic back!!!) . Now in the mystic tree our hand is encoraged to use the damage line (send the mystic and the pet in!!!!). Maybe the next AA will have us taunting, errr unless you discount bolster.

When I saw the melee dps aas for us I was pretty piised off

In the MT grp we tend to get the druid curing more (temp and shammie pump out more healing) - it doesn't seem worth spending many aas to end up with a ~200 point ward for the few occasions i actually cure. If i get dumped to the OT grp for a *spit* defiler it makes even less sense.

The rez line is a joke for me so I'm using the dps ones and loving them... before i never had the time to wait for our damage spells to cast, now the aa ones are almost insta-cast so i don't mind spending a bit of mana/time on them plus the pbaoe is a blast for soloing quests etc (1k damage to everything nearby).
