What's a good way to search for mystic gear? Thotbott was great for warcraft, and made it really easy to figure out what drops where, and which sets existed for which class. I haven't found anything like that for eq2; i already konw about allakhazam, and i've never really liked their layout.  I see people talking about mastercraft stuff, and other sets, and i have no clue what they're talking about. When i try to figure it out, there isn't much info I can find. Plus i like to pick out my optimized gear for higher levels ahead of time and then go after it.<div></div>

<div></div>Two sites I use, just listing 1 because I'm at work and can't remember the details about the other: EQ2iDB - the original link site, I use them all the time<a href="http://eq2idb.com/" target="_blank">http://eq2idb.com/</a><div></div>

Go to a broker and do a search for mystic chain armour. That will give you some idea about armour, especially mastercrafted. The reverent line isnt bad if you have the rares or the money. For lower levels there are armour quests at 20, at 30 there is the manifestet terror set in EL. Later on there is of course fabled and legendary drop. But this is usually no-trade. Claymore offers a full set of armour and EoF those new sets. But only EoF sets have the bonus like you know them from WoW. I always say that you dont need much while leveling up. Especially healers are fine. So you can spend your money later into T7 mastercrafted. This is a good starter for raids.  <div></div>
