New Mystic - PvP Replies Needed

My Zerker is geared to the hilt, so its time to start another char!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm big on PvP, a lot of my chars are in the top 5 of their respective classes on Venekor, and im always look to perfect techniques etc. In light of this, i think Mystic is one of the more challenging PvP classes.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So, my question, what AA builds would you recommend? What gear? 2 handed spear? <DIV>Xiao is the guy that posts on the Nagafen boards as the number 1 mystic.  He quit the game a few weeks ago I believe.  Might want to post on Havoc's forums to get him to respond.  Im sure he still checks them occasionally.  Xiao is a good mystic but im pretty sure he can post he is the number 1 mystic becuase there are like 3 level 70 mystics on Nagafen? :smileyvery-happy:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

mystics are very difficult in pvp, dunno why im even replying to this but not many people pick a mystic for pvp, but on the otherhand if your gonna raid alot you'll be very useful. <span></span><div></div>

<div></div><div></div><font color="#ff3300">So, my question, what AA builds would you recommend? </font>I'd go melee spec with AAs (there's another thread around about what constitutes a good melee spec). From my experience PVPing on a Mystic staying alive for an extended duration is not difficult at all (occasionally a scout will get the jump on you, of course) but killing other people is a big pain. I messed around with a melee spec for a bit before I quit playing on Nagafen and it was fairly formidable at PVP (this was pre-EoF so it's probably better now). <font color="#ff3300"></font><font color="#ff3300">What gear? </font>I focused a little more on resists/mit/hp over pure wis than I think most Shamans do, it makes a big difference in PVP. <font color="#ff3300"></font><font color="#ff3300">2 handed spear? Sword and Board? </font><font color="#ff3300"></font>I'd suggest a good two hander (crushing or piercing, dosen't really matter) when you get to the upper levels but leveling up the increased survivability of using a one hander and a shield might be a good idea.
