Wards on cures, do they show in logs?

I've  spent 2 AA points to add the smallest ward to two of my single target cures.   I've been looking in the log files for any evidence of a new ward absorbing damage,  and on ACT for any new heal/ward types showing up and have found none.   Am I too assume these wards really never did anything useful?  or is the logging of these wards broken?<div></div>

Easy test:Group with someone.  Have that person duel a caster who can attack using the type of damage you have the small Ward for.  Cast your "cure" to get the Ward up, then have the damage applied.Check your log.<div></div>
