I've noticed this a lot lately and I wanted to get input from others.  Whenever "aura of warding" is still up before a pull I try to cancel as quickly as possible otherwise doggy get's cancelled very quickly.  However, when I "cancel" it doesn't actually cancel for another 5-6 seconds.  And, essentially leaves a "ghost" ward and aggro remaining.  I noticed that whenever it terminates normally it terminates right way. I see the messages and I see the green numbers over the group heads.  I don't think it's a just log file writing latency either; I have tested this for the past week in normal and raid settings, and whenever some pulled before I see the aura finish messages me and doggy get hit bad.<div></div>

Remember, you are only cancelling your own Ward.Not the one on your dog, not the ones on all your group members.Each Ward proc'ed by Aura of Warding is a single target Ward attributed to the dog.If it were possible to possess the dog, you could then cancel each individual Ward.<div></div>

Just to minimize confusion, the sum of what Bandit just said is that its not currently possible to cancel the Aura of Warding ward on anyone but yourself. If it needs to be cancelled, the tank needs to do it. <div></div>

Well....shoot.What if I cancelled the ability? Would it drop everyone's ward or no?Otherwise, I guess I'll only be using it for raids.<div></div>

That's what all the raiding Mystics I know do.  Cancel or not cast it, except when raiding.<div></div>

When grouping, I usually leave it down and just put it up for named fights, and drop it again afterwards. Its not like we really need the healing during groups.  It can help yes, but we've got plenty of tools at our disposal. <div></div>
