<DIV>+15% heals for 10 minutes and +50% heals for 1 minute. That's all I found useful from Tunare. The cloak isn't great either. +30 to heals, not impressive imo.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Any suggestions for an alternative? Preferably from a raiding mystics perspective.</DIV>

Check out Marr.Still think Tunare's cloak is the best you can get on the good side.<div></div>

Tunare isn't much use for wards huh?I'm tempted to go with Tunare based on the cloak mentioned - but otherwise Tunare just isn't a deity for shamans imo.<div></div>

Im going with Quellious.  Mostly for RP reasons, but also I think I'd rather have the abilities that allow me to regain some power than to minorly boost my heals. In a longer fight, Im more worried about running out of power than raw HPS.  And in a shorter fight....well we won or the small boost to heals probably wouldnt matter. <div></div>

I'm going Solusek RO...  But thats cause i PvP, and we have no damage what so ever for PvP use.  Sun Sphere will be a nice surprise for them freepers.

I'm thinking of going with Quellious also, but Sol Ro would be second choice.<div></div>

Brell also aint bad if you want some more damage, and also are a tradeskiller. <div></div>

I thought about Brell because of the TS and immense damage related benefits. But since I want raiding to be successful I think I'll go down the other path.<div></div>

Being able to throw that big hunk of damage at the right moment can help a raid as well. You are basicly going to get to use 1, maybe 2, benefits from your diety in any given raid.  In most raids where I've found myself wanting a little more oomf healing, a little more oomf of damage at the right moment would probably help as much.  Maybe Im just overly optimistic, but from what I see, it looks like you could pretty much get a good benefit from any of the gods in a raid. <div></div>

Descriptions gotten from <a href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=echoesoffaydwer&message.id=27287" target=_blank>http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=echoesoffaydwer&message.id=27287</a> Just a quick glance gives these options....not all perfectly equal, but close enough. Sol Ro    For Raiding: <b>Solusek's Soothing Scorch </b>    For PvP: <b>Incineration </b>Brell     For Raiding:<b>Protection of Brell</b>     For Crafting: <b>Brell's Favor</b> Tunare     For Raiding:<b>Growth's Replenishment</b>     For PvP: <b>Tunare's Lifeshield</b> Quellious     For Raiding: <u>Shield of the Tranquil</u>     For PvP: <u>Pensive Preoccupation</u> Marr     For Raiding: <b>Sacrifice of Marr</b>     For PvP: <b>Marr's Barrier</b> They all have thier place. <b> </b><div></div>

<div><blockquote><hr> They all have thier place. <b> </b><div></div><hr></blockquote>Yeah, that's the hardest part for me. Also most of them can only be used every hour anyways so I see them more as those end encounter tools then overall gameplay necessities.</div>

If some of you were unsure, the cloak does add 30 to wards, as well as heals. I went with Tunare, cuz I knew the quest from beta and didn't feel like dealing with a different one =.<div></div>

Also, I am pretty sure you can do one quest, get your cloak, renounce the diety and get another one, and still wear the cloak. <div></div>

<DIV>They are all pretty lackluster IMO.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Its not like any one thing is going to make or break ya with this god system. Now if it was like old EQ1 tribute, that would be a different story. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But once an hour for 10 min with having 2 mer/blessings at a time? /yawn.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I kinda imagined someone at sony was all "OMGWTFBBQ I have this really cool ideal for wizards and sol ro!" and then another person was all "Yea well you cant do that just for wizards, others will scream, so you gotta think of more stuff for other people". Then the others who were sitting around the table in the meeting glared at the WTFBBQ guy and were like "Loser, you just gave us more work to do". and as they all got out to leave the room someone bunched the bbq guy in the arm where no others could see it. =/</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>:smileyvery-happy:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>I went with Tunare just because I really didn't see a lot of use for some of the others. (And I'd already heard what a pain in the butt the Brell quest was, and I hate his guts forever anyway from those damned earthquakes!)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I was duoing stage 4 of the Tunare quest with my 63 Guardian wife and when we were moving through the 59^^^ Heroic crystal dudes I found that 15% heal/ward increase really handy when we got two adds on a pull...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I haven't tried anything but the first Blessing/Miracle (Because I haven't been back to my house since we did the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quests lol) but the first Miracle looks like a really nice Undead only Manaburn. (Some 2500 damage with 1400 damage every 6 seconds for a minute!)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have my Rare Tier 7 cloak with FT3 and Regen 3, I won't be using the Tunare cloak... (Really wish that had been a percentage increase or a crit chance increase on that cloak instead... sigh.)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Hey Mystique, if I finish the "Speak as a Dragon" quest.. is there anything else I really need to do other than hail to finish quest 5 for Tunare?</DIV>

<P>For me as a raiding mystic and as a healer in general, it comes down to 1 thing, maybe 2, POWER. then Casting Speed.  Without power, none of your healing spells matter.  In this respect, I am like the "got to have FT" mages.  :smileytongue:</P> <P>Like Eepop, Im going with Quellious.  I too, would rather have the abilities that allow me to regain some power than to minorly boost my heals.<BR><BR></P>

<DIV>Thanks for the link TheDump, but that's already where I got my information. If you read the walkthrough it mentions this: (Quoted for ease of refference) My comments in <FONT color=#ff0000>RED.</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffff66>Eva sends you to meet Guardian of Growth in Emerald Halls, at Lesser Faydwer. To reach Emerald Halls go to The Fugutr Tribe at 63.49, 17.78, -407.84. Then jump into the river and swim north. Just before the entrance to Emerald Halls there is a stone under your left (177.42, -0.43, -602.94). Click to zone into special version of Emerald Halls. </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffff66></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ff0000>So, there's no mentoin here of whether this Emerald Halls instance is a zone filled with heroic nasties that require and escort team to get through or not. Any ideas?</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffff66></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffff66>Talk with Kaarla Teofaunta. </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffff66></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffff66>She need your help with locating her gift for the guardian. You can find it at the end of zone (loc -448.08, -13.08, -149.33). Harvest that acorn and examine it. </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffff66></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ff0000>Acorn laying harmlessly in a happy place? Or sitting under a grumpy constipated dragon?</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffff66></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffff66>Return to Kaarla. </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffff66></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffff66>Now you may speak with Wuoshi, the Guardian of the Growth. (Requires you to speak Draconic) </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffff66></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ff0000>Requires you to speak Draconic and have a raid force to clear to him? Unless you dont take the frontdoor (like me <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />)you wont stumble into a group of 72epic x4 <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> If you use the right entrance you will be in a safe zone. Only some [your level] solo bears near the acorn. But its easy to sneak it without invis. Wuoshi is a NPC dragon in this instance. He is not attackable and wont attack. Once you have the acorn hes talking about lore and stuff. Then you are done. <div></div>

<DIV>Awesome info thanks! <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So there are two different doors? At least I'll know if I see that group of nasties that I'm at the wrong door <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>
