<DIV>Have any other mystics been having an incredibly bad time with resists? My debuffs are all master 1 and I'm finding I will often have to cast them several times to even get them to land. This isn't on epic stuff, just normal blue^^^ and white ^^^.</DIV> <DIV>Even having to cast several times to land debuffs on blue v and VV as of yesterday. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The wizard in my group seemed to have it even worse than I did. =/</DIV>

Yes, my gods it's annoying. You can thank the various combat changes and tweaks that came with EoF for that.<div></div>

The higher your skill the less resists you will see. Combine that with a higher quality spell such as an Adept I, Adept III, or Master I and debuffs to mob resistances and you'll see a considerable drop in resist rates.<BR><BR>All skills and skill bonuses became more significant within the changes to the combat mechanics.<BR></P> <HR> </DIV></BLOCKQUOTE>

So, what that means is that just being maxed in these skills (or at least the primary skill used for your class) like most players are most of the time isn't good enough anymore. Every player at every level needs +disruption or +subjugation skill mods on items to be able to achieve the relatively low resist rates we had before in most situations. Needless to say, noobs are screwed (not loving life on my Fae atm), and higher level players are in for a humbling adjustment.<div></div>

Did they sneak in a change for this? I thought I was having more resists earlier in the week.Today I seem to be having a slightly easier time than I usually do today - and that was soloing in Tenebrous Tangle too.<div></div>

Yes. They've been modifiying older expansions, because just like every other expansion they don't have time to do it correctly before it goes live.<div></div>
