<div></div>Mystics have the following debuffs at level 70 (well there are 2 more Wail of the ancients and Eidolon)Lethary - encounter decrease attack speedShreiking haze - single target decrease attack speedlamenting soul - decrease dmg per secondumbral trap - decrease dmg per secondI read a thread on this site that shows that the 2 sets of spells stack when one mystic casts them on one mob. But on a raid what is the situation? Do they stack fully or partially with other classes debuffs?<div></div><p>Message Edited by culmore170a on <span class=date_text>11-02-2006</span> <span class=time_text>02:27 PM</span>

<DIV>Clearly the 2 sets of spells stack on one mob ie you can have all 4 debuffs running at one time. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am not concious of them ever being cancelled by other classes' debuffs during raids except by other mystics if they are of higher quality (Ad3 cancelling Ad1). I have not seen my debuffs cancelled by defilers in raids. Different classes debuffs stack eg our resist debuffs and a wiz elemental debuff, but there is speculation that the max level of debuffing that the entire raid can do on any stat is capped or subject to a 'diminishing returns' curve. I'm not sure there is a definitive answer on this - search the general forums and see?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Ecoskii - 70 Mystic</DIV> <DIV>Unity - Splitpaw</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Mystic quotes for raids:</DIV> <DIV>pfft - healing is for druids.....</DIV> <DIV>scream at me all you like... I had 1 sec to cure you and cast 3 beautiful <fizzles> RIP</DIV>

<DIV>Attack speed and DPS decrease debuffs stack fully with every other Attack speed and DPS decrease debuff in the game.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Right up to the cap, which is 50%.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So, if your raid has 10 debuffs running on a mob that decrease Attack Speed, the most you'll decrease the mob by is 50%.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Because of this mechanic, it's often wise to discuss ahead of time who is casting what debuffs so that you don't waste a lot of power running 10 of the same kind of debuff on the mob.</DIV>

Banditman how do you know there is a cap of 50%? I do not write this to discredit what you say, but I have heard people say things like:"epic mobs are hasted 100%, so you can slow them more than 50%""if there was such a cap then certain classes would be unwelcome on raids, so there cannot be one"What is you basis for making this statement (I have heard other people agreew tih you and it makes sense to me based on some of the other game rules). But how do you know it is true?<div></div>
