Last night while in Labs I noticed I picked up a lot of aggro after using Bolster pre-pull. I believe the tank was primarily using body bulls before taunting. This is the first time I have encountered this; has anyone else seen this before?<div></div>

The only time I have got aggro with bolster is when it lands too late and my tank shoots an arrow or something mid cast. Of course, some thing could have changed since I last played (PC died last week and parts not in yet) <div></div>

<P>I haven't noticed any change to me casting bolster before the tank has any agro and me getting agro. If it lands just after he agros something, well, situation normal.</P> <P> </P>

Maybe my timing was off. I'll try it again and see what happens.<div></div>

No problems last night in HoS. Bolster functioned as aspected. Was there a ward still up by any chance on bodypull...one of your own or one of dogdog?

<DIV>Maybe it was Runic Aegis and the mob doing some sort of frontal. But then again you probably were at max range. Any scouts put their hate on you? Did you zone in first? Ok I am completly rambling now and making wild guesses.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anything special about that evening, position wise, group setup etc?</DIV>

<P>Our mystic reported to us in a recent raid in Labs (within the last 2-3 weeks) that the Endbringer mobs seemed to agro when she cast bolster on tehMT before a pull. It was a specific set of mobs and a specific pull, so it might well be a body pull.</P> <P>Either way we haven't seem it repeatedly, and certainly not through out the zone, but she has reported Bolster agro happening on those mobs.</P>

<DIV>I had to “Gently” remind our MT last night that if he says Pulling in 3 2 1 hes not getting a bolster. I encouraged him to do his quick countdown right after the bolster lands. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Cast Bolster – And a split second it lands the tank pulls you get agro.<BR>Cast Bolster – Make the tank WAIT a split second then pull your good as gold. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Bolstered last night in HoS on the Endbringer no problem at all after our tank allowed Bolster to land. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As far as I’m concerned, if the tank cant wait for the Bolster to land before he pulls, he obviously doesn’t need the bolster that bad in the first place =). </DIV>

My tank usually says something like "Here we go" and starts casting some self buff he has (I dunno what, but hes a zerker). Simultaneously, I Bolster him and if I am two-boxing my wife's Troubador Jester's Cap him as well. Only time I have a problem is if we are killing too fast and bolster isnt up again yet and I dont notice that it doesnt cast immediately when I press it (alot easier to not notice when two-boxing, heh) <div></div>

The one thing I've found that helps is to have a tank who has a "ritual" to do himself right before he pulls. Our guild uses a 5 second warning before pull. Our tank casts two short term self buffs which take, surprisingly, exactly 5 seconds to cast. This works well for us to get the buffs on immediately before the pull for maximum effect.<div></div>

We have countdown as well. I usually try to get it in a few seconds before the pull.<div></div>
