<DIV>I know there are a ton of issues with everquest 2 and this is way way far down on the list of things needing to look at. But ever since the update for the running animations my Disco Ball lvl 50 Fluff spell doesnt work right. It makes a shiny ball on the ground that stays there after I walk away. Tried messing with my particle effects but that didnt work. I know a few guildies are ticked cause we just dinged guild lvl 40 and they got thier nightmare horses only to have thier eyes not flaming the following day. Maybe its an issue with particle effects game wide but everyone knows the party doesnt start till you have a Disco ball<img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> </DIV>

Yeah something is definately up with particles after the last update. Hair braids are actually rendered with the particle engine, and no longer even show up now =.<div></div>

Actually even more funny...the braids are rendered...they just dont move with the player...they sit on the ground wherever they were when the player logged in. There was a post with some excellent pictures of braids laying in a tradeskill instance, heh. <div></div>

Friends were making smart comments about the darkside of the moon, smoking "oregano" and other such things to go along with the dog's laser light show. </P>

SoE turned Fitzpizzle's Hoover platform upside down and now there is a particle "bug".

Not sure exactually what was fixed in the particle area but after a long weekend of playing eq2 in various zones my game ran really smooth<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> No crashes, no weird lazer light shows, no long load times..maybe I just got lucky but it seemed to me like they overhauled something when they fixed the particles that makes my machine run eq2 better.
