Was wondering if anyone has tried the new guild raids and their impressions. From LU26:

* Raid 1: Add Management (NPCs spawn every X seconds and attack raid members)* Raid 2: Aggro Management (Hate list shuffling or adding hate for subclass type)* Raid 3: AE Stun / Stifle (2-3 sec duration)* Raid 4: Resistance Fight (NPC uses powerful AE of type X)* Raid 5: AE Charm (become the pet of the enemy!)

We tried some of these last night and there were some mixed reactions.1) This was fairly easy, but the waves are somewhat crazy. We didn't have the best crowd control so we just concentrated on the Named. We only lost one person so it went well. FYI, the waves are all ^^^ heroics. This was in Antonica in the shattered vale.2) This takes place in CL near the Nek zone line. This was relatively easy as well, but confusing. You have to go through 4 sub named mobs before getting to the boss named. The sub named will let you know who they are attacking, but you hardly have time to deal with right away. The subnamed on the right hand side seem to go for healers.3) This was a real pain. We didn't get past it. When you go after the named mobs - there is 1 boss with 3 sub bosses, and all are linked. The stun/stifle is insane. Doggie get's wiped in a nano-second. After about a 1-2 mins guards are called about every other 2-3 minutes. The stun/stifle and adds were just too much --- plus the adds wait RIGHT AT the revive point.

Also did the first 3 yesterday, and got stuck at the same spot.

*SPOILER WARNING*

1) The adds comes in way too fast. Considering this is supposed to be the very first of the entry level raids, the raid force has not a prayer of beeing equipped enough to withstand that many adds, unless they manage to have 1 or 2 very good illusionnists, and 2 tanks very quick on the trigger, or enough DPS to burn down the named to limit the casualities.

2) Pretty straightfoward. The aggro suffling seems totally random, or class-based.

3) Zoned in, started clearing, and before reaching the trees, we noticed the named was at our right. Engaged it, and he creamed us pretty fast since we missed a couple of his guards that where still standing. Started clearing the trees, and the mix of EpicX2 and heroics made for a pretty lazy rythm. Even the sub-nameds where piece of cake. The one in the middle took us completely by surprise and totally unprepared for that level of difficulty. After wipe, decided to simply burn him down too. Then on to the named and his linked sub-named. Again, he is quite strong, but after a wipe, all the adds camped the revive point. We stayed for 5-10 minutes, and they did not seem to be despawning, so we used /quit. The last one to leave told us that they had just despawned as he was leaving.

Good luck.

In raid 3 the adds will despawn, but you can revive at the spawn point and the adds will not agro...I have done it, with a full x2 raid and no one got agro, even though the adds were right there. The secret to defeating the prince and his guardians is number one max casting distance for healers to avoid the massive stun/stiffle effect. Also there is one of the guards that is a bard type, he has to go first, his debuffs are killers. have an off tank that will do nothing but pick up the adds, or bring some CC (chanter type)

The Named Tree boss will punt you half way across the zone, clear the entire area of every tree there, then have tank pull the Tree Boss and put his back against that hut...max Casting distance was till not enough to avoid his AoE's but you could try it...
