Well, not new necessarily, but I haven't played since around January or February. I got my first AA today and the spirit pet. What's it do, as it dies in 3 hits? Does it give buffs or a little or a lot of damage or what? Because it's a lousy protector and tank. Also, will someone please post a list of the Mystic spell lines so I can get an idea of how to best set up my hotbars? Thanks!

hi therebest search for your questions on this board (search button on the bottom ..), there are plenty threads about that already (but a personal hint.... dont expect our pet to tank for you .... ever!)and we have a stickied thread about the complete spell-list from mystique, you should have seen it already, its at the top of the threadlist edit: to the setup of the spellshm, well, first of all, look for the thread of mystique about UI's, profit ui is very very handy for healers. but generally, keep your heals, wards and debuffs on a place you can reach them quick with normal keystrokes, rest is just flavour and you will find out what works best during playing, dont think there is a general answer to that.
Message Edited by tebion on 08-08-2006 02:25 AM

Yeah, the dog won't ever tank. This isn't a summoner type pet, and you aren't going to be a summoner. At rank 1, consider it a small (very small) dps increase. As you get more AAs, you can make the dog dish out a bit more damage, add group buffs, or other things. I look at the dog as providing some nice support abilities, but not much more.

If you are soloing, best for you to tank the mob, and have the dog for added DPS. As you already found out, Fido doesn't tank.
