im wondering, to maximize my ability to solo and pvp (and to get the most dps), what AA lines should i go? I was thinking Agi/StrI know that in the end str/wis (i think its wis, whatever the popular pet setup is) adds about 100dps, but for when you DONT have it maxed (if i ever get 50aa's i'll switch to that probably), what is better?but then brings up the questions, which will help my solo-ability early on without the full line? the agi line with the huge melee crit chance (id go 2h), or the pet attacksanyone tried this out? or any advice? did anyone do any dps comparison between the two?thanks<p>Message Edited by terr0rdemon on <span class=date_text>08-07-2006</span> <span class=time_text>07:50 AM</span>

Your best bet in PvP is to find a partner to duo with. You're simply not going to pump out enough DPS to kill anyone aside from another Priest or perhaps a Bard.If I were to start a PvP character, I'd start a Predator. It's good to have an "I Win" button.<div></div>

im not asking how to make a pvp char, i know that i wont be able to pvp solo, and i didnt make this guy to do thatbut what AA lines are best for soloing (without the full line is important, basically whats best as i level out the line) and for pvpedit: i already have 2 other pvp characters so this isnt my first<p>Message Edited by terr0rdemon on <span class=date_text>08-07-2006</span> <span class=time_text>08:37 AM</span>

<DIV>Here is what I am hoping to do to maximize my solo DPS. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>WIS Line : Ritualistic agression (hoping to get this to master rank)</DIV> <DIV>AGI Line : The whole line looks good for DPS</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The STR line looks nice too for group play. With enough points I might respec to AGI & STR then build up Ritual Agression in the WIS line. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Edit note: I am a PvE player and do not know much about PvP aspects.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Godflower on <span class=date_text>08-08-2006</span> <span class=time_text>11:34 AM</span>

Wis Line depends on Dog for DPS, which is very dangerous in PvP. One hit and he's gone. Agility is nice, but its not a very huge DPS increase until you get a very slow 2hander. My vote would go first to int. The stat bonus will provide more to your damage than any other stat bonus would. And spell damage crits would probably add more overall DPS than melee crits (until perhaps Blackscale maul). And the benefit of stripping opponents buffs would be very nice in PvP. <div></div>

The wisdom 3 AP is very nice for soloing(non PvP). Free source of dps. I've 15 AP with 6 in wis 3, the proc is at 18% chance. 2-3 proc per mob with 405 max crit at level 51 at the moment. The fight is shorter and use less power. <div></div>
<DIV>If I were planning a DPS build for PvE, then I would definitely take the Ritualistic agression up to rank 8. However, for a PvP mystic, the dog dies so fast, that I am not sure that he would add much (caveat - I don't have a PvP mystic). Once the dog dies, your dps is down by at least 30% (probably closer to 50% if you are using leg bite or rabies as well). </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>PvP I would still go with the Agi line first.</DIV>

i think what im going to do is get 8 points into ritualistic agression, and then at that point see what i need more, pve help, or pvp help, or group healing help. but i definately think ritualistic agression is the right way to go to beginand also, in pvp, smart people target the pets. pvp servers are full of idiotsedit: when im pvping, i really have no time to attack, im really constantly warding/healing/debuffing/curing, so the pvp benefit from agi is negligible, it would really only be for pve<p>Message Edited by terr0rdemon on <span class=date_text>08-08-2006</span> <span class=time_text>08:09 AM</span>
