Hi,I'm in a bit of a pickle. I've been doing some research about my current two boxing combo of Monk / Mystic.I absolutely loooove my Mystic. Absolutely perfect for my needs: Ward / Pet / Debuff / Ward / Forget. Its great. However, what I'm starting to wonder is if I'm doing myself a dis-service by remaining with a Monk as my two boxing partner.I'm just posting here hoping to get some oppinions of other Mystics regarding their preferred tank (between Monk / Bruiser obviously).Oh... Mystic level 40 all master I or II heals / wards Monk level 42 in full Mastercrafted / Fabled with all combat arts at Adept 1 or above. Thanks in advance for any help!-Gobbles of Karana

I have a 70 Mystic and a 70 Monk (see SIg :smileytongue: ).

My Mystic is my main and has full fabled and full master (except torpor :smileysad: ) the Monk is almost full master and half fabled. These two rip almost any mob apart. Mystic invis+af on Monk and then train as normal on the Monk RULES :smileyhappy: .

Tbh i don't think using a bruiser as your 2box would make much difference, Monks and Bruisers are almost the same dps and tanking ability atm.

Message Edited by Pingu_cfc on 08-08-2006 05:16 AM

I 2-box monk & mystic at lvl 70..its a pretty good combo.. I personally think there would'nt be that huge a benefit swapping to a bruiser..they seem to take it on the chin a bit better than monks..but prewarding and putting outward calm and tsunami up tends to give you that bit of a buffer to get the mobs debuffed to make the fight easier..Plus monks have got grp feign death which is very handy when you find yourself getting into a bit of a pickle.. If you are looking for a combo that can tackle more powerful mobs then a zerker makes brawlers look weak..you dont get all the benefits a brawler brings like ease of training through dungeons to get to names with feign death..But they'll plough through groups of mobs a lot quicker with their AE dps and need a lot less healing as well
