Bolster Master

<P>The 54% is only to the target's physical size.  Bolster Master 1 does not increase stats by 54%.  Bolster M1 does increase stats by 20%, which is a 5% increase over the Adept 3 (15%)</P> <P>I am not sure what the market is like on your server, but on Oasis, you can generally get Mystic masters for less than 10pp.  I think that I paid 5 for Bolster.  For me, a 5% over the adept 3 for 30 seconds was not worth more than that.  </P> <P>25 pp is way too much IMHO.  </P>

Actually, M1 is a 2.5% increase over Adept 3 which is 17.5%.  Adept 1 is 15%.I wouldn't pay more than 5-7 plat for the spell in the Kithicor economy.<div></div>

On Nagafen bolster seems to drop often.I have had bolster master 1 3 times now and havent payed a single copper for it. (had to betray twice for claymore)<div></div>

<P>That's right.  I remebered the 20% at M1, and it being a very insubstantial upgrade from the adept 3 (actually, I might have gone straight from Adept 1 to the master, /shrug).  But yeah, with it being such a small upgrade, I wouldn't make it a priority. </P> <P> </P>

<DIV>17.5% to 20% is modest, but then that is applied to 5 stats, at east 4 of which actually help the tank, plus seemingly by the description an extra boost to the HP.  That can help get thru the tough initial portion of a tough pull.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

It's a little more important to a beginning raid guild than an established one, I'll grant you.  Still, I wouldn't put nearly as much value on a Bolster Master as an Ethereal Aegis Master for instance.<div></div>

Have never seen that one either.

<P>There is no "where" in EQ2. Any Master1 of any class can drop from any mob of the appropriate level. The chance to drop increases with the difficulty of the mob.</P> <P>If you want a lv66 spell, then hunt for mobs around lv66 to maximize your chances.</P>

I'm not even sure level has much to do with it anymore.Last night Bolster (L65) M1 dropped off a L74 named in Nizara.<div></div>

<P>It used to work up to T6, and the last 2 Master1s I got myself were exactly the level of the mob I had just killed. From general personnal observation, It was always give or take 1-2 levels.</P> <P>I would guess there are exeptions thou then. Raids mobs probably drop anything in the 14 levels range lower than them (wild guess here).</P>

Standard procedure.Every time you hit a level cap, your highest level spells are extremely rare.  It's been true at every tier.<div></div>

There are scattered reports of various L70 Masters dropping in the new Nek Castle instance.  The other Mystic in my guild looted Oberon Barrier last night for sure.<div></div>

That's where I got my Oberon Barrier.
