<DIV> The first 25 AP I got went to getting this ability (Im sure just like the majority of you!), so that my dog could stay alive. And now a days it seems as if this ability is becoming worthless. I overlooked the fact that in Assent of Awakening the birds AE’s kill our dogs NON STOP, infact it becomes such a pain in the rear I just stop summoning the thing because of the 10 Second CAST time, with its nasty little 10 second RECAST. So for OVER 20 seconds no heals, slows, debuffs, Cures or any of that sort of fun stuff from us! (I say over, because ya gotta put the other buffs back on the pet or its not going to live). Also the last dragon in AoA – The one who summons the little fire blobs for each person who gets hit by the AE? Yea it happens there as well (at least it did with us 2 times only people in range of the AE were the dog and the MT). So tonight we went to do the big crab in the new expansion pack and REPEATEDLY its AE killed my pet. =/ Unlike the birds in AoA it wasn’t 100% guaranteed that the AE would kill him but it did more then enough times to get me upset about the whole thing. And before everyone starts to ask – NO the dog was not on protect me/self, no the dog did not engage the mob before the MT did. Yeah, the AoA thing is known. I have been happy with Spiritual Foresight in just about every other situation though.

Yeah if all we can come up with are two zones in which it is frustrating to keep the pet up in, I really don't see much of a problem. All the other times in all the other raids that he does fine in unless directly hit, the ability is doing its job. And all the times group members avoid AE's as well, it's doing its job. We really don't know the mechanics behind all the ae's that mobs use, especially since they are often totally different from apparently similar spells player classes get. Maybe some are essentially targetting every single person the same way we target one. Maybe it truly is a bug of some kind and maybe the wording on SF could be cleaned up, we really dunno. I for one don't have the energy to take the crusade to the dev's ear anymore, but be my guest.<div></div>
