<DIV>Not only does the mitigation component of my adept 3 Runic Aegis not stack with other priests mitigation bufs (Gallantry, Protection of the Oak, in the test I was doing), it overwrites the Gallantry Master 1 mitigation buf and actually lowers mitigation of group. I was told to turn it off in some other gorups where it was obviously lowered the tank's mitigation to have my runic buf up, suspect that was a fury master I was overwriting that time.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This seems broken, even if the mitigation component doesn't stack, I'd still like the small regenning ward. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>On the other hand, is the small ward of the runic aegis more valuable than the single target Hp/Power boost on a secondary tank if I wasn't going to increase tank mitigation due to other healers in the group? Esp considering most encounters were being split tanked between to main and secondary tank anyway?</DIV>

<P>Hi,</P> <P>I noticed the same thing with my defiler which had a lower tier mit buff that overwrite Galantry M1. If I added up the physical mit of my spell, and added the regen ward I got more total mitigation than gallantry and that is the reason you overwrite as well.</P> <P>Basically since the regen ward on my defiler is against magic I kept my group buff up as it's handy to all apart from maybe the tank that's better off with raw mitigation, so had the tank just cancel my buff so he had Gallantry while rest of group had my shamans buff.</P> <P>Another option is just to keep either yours or the other healer buff off so you free up a conc slot for other things...</P>

<DIV>Presumably Runic Aegis M1 would have the same raw mitigation as Galantry M1, eliminating the problem altogether?</DIV>
<DIV>The do have the same mitigation and this indeed fix the problem.</DIV>

<DIV>Also.. something that doesn't so much fix the issue as just help with handling it, but when we first figured this out in my guild, the MT/raid leader at the time decided that as long as the mystic in question (sorry we've never had a defiler so idk how it woulda been handled with a defiler instead) had at least ad3 of their t7 buff, they were allowed to keep it up; otherwise they were asked to take it down in favor of my m1 mit. Seems the tank felt that the ward size on the ad3 was good enough to make up for the lost 200ish mit between ad3 and m1.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Dragonrealms on <span class=date_text>07-21-2006</span> <span class=time_text>07:55 PM</span>
