<DIV>I was wondering if any of you raiding shaman who have Spiritual Foresight and have beaten Talendor use your pets for the fight. The pet is supposed to be immune to his AE, but will having him in it cause extra adds to spawn? I was in quite an argument last night with guild members who thought I should get rid of the pet (which I eventually did), despite the obvious benefits that the AE immunity and aura of warding could have given us.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyone know for sure?</DIV>

If the AE hits the pet or player, it will trigger the blobs. If the AE is resisted, no blobs will be triggered. Brigands for example can stay in the AE because they are immune through amazing reflexes, so if you have the AA to make your pet immune he may as well be in there fighting.

It doesnt. I have shaman in my guild, the pet wont spawn them if they have the AA that grants the pet immunity.

since the AE isn't directed to the pet... the pet is immune. you're safe to send your pet.<div></div>

<DIV>There are only 2 raids situations that my Pet isnt out .</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Junk mobs in AoA either 2x or 4x</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>and on Gnorbl the Playful in lyceum , the dumbfire pets throw out aoe tuants that will cause your pet to switch targets to the dumbfires , Ive never checked to see if the Pet avoids the taunts , but even one set of those dumbfires that go off , hurt the tank to bad to bother trying.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But apart from that my pet has killed most mobs in T7 including Tranix .</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I just park my pet at the top of the stairs for Gnorbl, it's no biggie.Tarinax is T7, Tranix is T5. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

Make sure you put the pet on Gnorbl and if your pet is AE immune then he's fine. He won't be taunted.Your best bet is to when in doubt, ask a brigand. If it will hit a brigand, it will hit the dog. If it doesn't, then he's safe. Keep in mind though some targetted effects only hit the group that the mob has aggro on (hopefully your MT group =P). Brigands probably won't have a clue about those.<div></div>

Even in MT group the pet doesn't get taunted? Seriously?<div></div>
<DIV>That's right.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My pet doesn't get taunted in Nizara either. While everyone is struggling to stick on one target, Lassie rabidly keep her jaws on the same mob.</DIV>
