I apoligize in advance as I did a search and I still don't know exactly what this does. I just hit 45 and have a few questions. What are the beneficial spells? And combat spells? Do you see this as a nice pvp spell for a mystic? I appreciate any and all feedback.

Shadowy attendant casts a number of small group heals.

Looking in log file now just to make sure I get it right but this is the one I have at level 70.......

26:53 group:dropping AE heal pet.
26:56 You summon an Aide of the Oracle
26:59 heal Malkin 192, heal Kelanean 184
27:01 heal Malkin 188, heal Kelanean 208
27:05 heal Kelanean 184
27:08 heal Baccalarium 220, heal Aaowyn 186
27:11 heal Kelanean 222
27:16 Aide of the Oracle leaves.

So 5-6 small group heals, for those very close to you. Example above was group squished into corner of a room trying not to agro the entire room. But number of folks getting beat on would suggest we weren't particularly effective in that endeavor.

The Attendant is much noisier than the warden tree that has a similar effect.

The useful thing about the attendant is it's healing while you are... it's a great "catch up." I know, weird way to say that.It has it's uses.

Little off topic...

When did SOE change our attendant to a bear from the badger <STRIKE>beaver</STRIKE>? I was in SOS this weekend, cast it and someone said, almost immediatly, "Didn't that used to be a beaver?"

Sure enough it was a bear. <shrug>

<edit> yea, I think it's badger not a beaver. sorry... I must have beaver on the mind... :smileysurprised:

Message Edited by Turgenite on 06-29-2006 07:58 AM

Beaver, badger, whatever. Some stupid little critter with a heal range of almost nothing. Very annoying to have a potentially useful tool screwed up by a mechanical issue that has little relevance to balance.
